25.01.2022 Stay tuned for details of this Sunday’s competition. We are looking at relocating somewhere south of Burleigh for it. I’ll do a scout around tomorrow and Saturday to see if I can find a bank a little more protected from the winds.

23.01.2022 It feels like it only took 365 days but 2019 finally had some waves this morning!! Hope everyone got one final surf in 2019. Happy New year to all!

21.01.2022 Our End of year break up is on the 6th December, at Southport Surf Club. At 2pm. $10 will get you a few drinks and some food for the afternoon, partners welcome. The more the merrier!!!

21.01.2022 As everyone is probably aware, or guessed. All upcoming competitions have been suspended until further notice. Hopefully this all settles down soon and we can get back on track. Everyone stay safe and healthy!

21.01.2022 Looks like we will be getting together, finally, this coming Sunday the 12th. The committee has met, and discussed a COVID-19 safe plan. We will not be holding a BBQ afterwards this month. Stay tuned for location throughout the week. Looking forward to catching up and having a surf together again!

19.01.2022 Tomorrow was supposed to be our first comp of the month, but due to this weather and because it is the first comp of the year, we have decided to postpone it until next Sunday morning, the 16th, meet 6am Narrowneck for a 6.30 start. Try and sign up before then, but if you can't bring yer credit card and Roy will sort before we start. This is a brand new year. We would like it to be the best, but that's up to you. Come next week, bring a friend, and we'll catch up. See u then.

17.01.2022 Our 2020 memberships are open! Sign on through Surfing Australia’s website. Find Narrowneck Longboard Club and voila!! You will need to set an account up with Surfing Australia if you havnt already done so. It will ask for a access code to join the club, the code is 4217. First comp is on the 9th of February at Narrowneck. You won’t be able to surf unless your a member. Feel free to contact me if having any dramas signing up.... Sam

15.01.2022 Vale Ron Silcock Sad news that we’ve lost another Narrowneck Mal Club founding member today. Ronnie was our first (and second and third.) club champion. A very stylish and flashy surfer, particularly on a log. I loved watching him, long nose rides, big turns and solid cutbacks. One of my favourite surfers, he would have held his own at any beach back in the day. In fact, he was in the junior finals in that very first World Contest at Manly in 1964. Ron was always larger ...than life at our functions, be they nights out or contests. One memorable trip with him was to Phillip Island in 1988 for the Aussie Longboard Titles. Can’t remember how he went in that one but it was almost too much fun. On behalf of the members and friends of Narrowneck Longboard (Mal) Club I’d like to offer our deepest sympathies to Chris and Byron and the extended family. 05.01.2022 We are ON tomorrow. However due to howlin’ Southerly winds we are moving the competition to Bilinga. Meet at the corner of Mill st and Pacific Parade, Bilinga. Surf is forecast to be shoulder to head high with protection from the wind should be a good day! Due to the venue change we are having a bit of a later start, let’s meet at 7 for a 730 start! Don’t forget your logs either! The first of Three Log rounds will be taking place.

04.01.2022 Our March competition is ON! We have had a first hand report that there is a wave with this wind at 1st Ave Burleigh Heads. We will be meeting at 6 for a 630 start. See you all tomorrow! 1st Avenue Burleigh Heads.
