03.01.2022 What a momentous day! The first on site action for the micro abattoir project. We joined some other great members of Murray Plains Meat Cooperative to plant trees This may not seem like the first on site work that would normally be involved in the average abattoir project. But then again, we are not aiming to build an average abattoir. The Co-op, together with @murrayrivercouncil, is building a small abattoir, focused on the ethical treatment of animals, high quality processing; and full traceability and transparency.
