25.01.2022 We are picking up a new ring, which has been kindly donated to to our gym tomorrow morning. There will be a couple of heavy sections to lift on and off the truck where an extra pair of hands would be very helpful. PM me if you can lend a hand.

25.01.2022 Sad to report Brandon didnt get the win today Back to the drawing board Thats bloody boxing

24.01.2022 Both boys boxed well tonight Anthony came away with another win. He landed well at long range and made improvements since his last bout and hell learn a lot from this one. Ger was in an entertaining scrap where they both had their moments, his opponent had the better of it in the end though. After 5 years out of the ring it was a solid performance and hell be back better than ever next time out.

24.01.2022 This is Jeremy our personal trainer he will be running all the daytime stuff, small groups and PT’s You can book in with him here.

23.01.2022 The calendar for the rest of the year not long left to go Its subject to change again at the moment of course

23.01.2022 3 Aussies made the top 4 here in Jordan, so theyve Qualified for Tokyo 2020. They are still going for Gold but the pressure is off, main mission accomplished, now they can enjoy their boxing knowing theyve booked their Olympic berth. Paulo Aukuso, Caitlin Parker and Justis Huni smiles all round happy days. 4 more Aussies in the quarters tomorrow fingers crossed we get 4 more over the line on their way to Tokyo as well.

23.01.2022 Great futures camp today at Peterson’s with a theme of video analysis, judging and competition sparring. Great work by all and a big thanks to our Officals who came to help Dave, Derek, Darv and Vic excellent work it really helped our squad a lot. Thanks to all the coaches as well and great engagement from the boxers who got a new appreciation for judging. Good to see some of our categorised Elites now back in the squad too well done all of you

22.01.2022 Job done thanks to everybody who helped with the new ring its a beauty

22.01.2022 What a night for Ger last night, nose gone in the first then broke his hand in the second and spent the night in emergency. He made it a war as usual, his opponent boxed well and deserved win but he had to really work for it in a brutal affair. We will find out if the hand needs surgery this week and am hoping we get a couple on next Saturdays show.

21.01.2022 Training is still on today people 5.30-7pm There will be no beginners session but beginners can join in the 5.30 session tonight.

20.01.2022 OK the training times over the next couple of weeks will change while I am away with the team in Jordan. The kids sessions will still be on 4.30-5.30pm Tuesday and Thursday but the beginners boxing normally 4.30-5.30pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday will be merging with the Competition boxing 5.30-7pm every weeknight. So all welcome to the Competition Boxing 5.30-7pm every weeknight until I get back training will be back to normal on 16/3/20

20.01.2022 A great night and big effort from all the team on Saturday. We didn’t all get our hand raised but we are all well placed for a good 2021 and am happy you all got one under your belt before the end of the year, regardless of the result. Evander Mason had his first bout tonight and found himself in with a much taller lad with a little bit more experience. He had his moments when he got in range but got caught with a few long clean ones and the ref called it off. He was want hu...rt and is dying to get back in the gym so hats off to him. Owen Morehouse exploded with some brilliant combinations to take out our only win of the night. He switched from head to body, used good head movement and variety in a tough bout non stop from both boys. Ben Biddle had another rematch with Zahin Kahn, he had a slower start this time and that was the difference for the judges and Zahin got the nod this time. Jorge Cruz stepped up a weight division and went to war in the 60kg division loosing a very close one on points great first bout by Jorge am looking forward to seeing him in a few bouts time. Nik Geracitano put on a clinic of how to keep your cool at close/mid range and punch at the right time and punch correctly. Unfortunately for Nik the officials weren’t paying attention again tho great for him to squeeze a bout in before the end of the year. Our last boxer of the night was Rhyme Loto having only his second boxing bout ( he’s an accomplished Muay Thai fighter now loving boxing ) he took on the National Junior Champ and was going great guns until he got a very heavy nose bleed the doctor said was ok but the ref called off. All good the ref was doing his job, Rhyme showed he has got a future in the game and he is an excellent addition to our team. We will be having our Christmas wind up on the 17th December at the gym 5.30pm

20.01.2022 Straun had another strong showing up at Geraldton on the weekend he continues improving every bout. Once again didn’t have his hand raised ( once again we thought he deserved it ) but he’s staying humble and looking at the big picture it’s all part of the process.

19.01.2022 Brandon and Floyds work this morning over at Bethania

19.01.2022 Please remember your own towel from now on guys When we do our floor exercises you will need to lay on your own towel for hygiene reasons.

17.01.2022 Well done to Ger Crehan and Anthony Ñomas Jr. both getting wins tonight. Anthony boxed a boy from Foxes who made it a good clean contest and Anthony stepped up to another level to win unanimous. Ger boxed Harvey from fierce over 3x3 this time Harvey made it tough and Ger had to work for it but there was no doubt good win. Well done to young Richie who sparred earlier today with Shane from Lacey’s, he boxed beautifully.

All past and present members welcome especially those who have boxed for us this season get your arse down there.

15.01.2022 We are just about to load the ring on the truck and take it to Wangara really need a lift off at that end if anybody can lend a hand

14.01.2022 Bobby won his first bout tonight with a lovely display of long instance boxing. His opponent Latrell didn’t stop coming forward and had his moments but Bobby stuck to the plan and got the nod. We should have a few on next week in the semis see you all on Monday.

14.01.2022 While me and Brandon are away overseas Floyd gets the job done without us. Hopefully he can get some decent fights from here on hes a level above these guys. Such a shame in the pro game just being the best doesnt get you the best fights. He really needs somebody to invest some dollars into him so he can get somewhere.

14.01.2022 Floyd is weighed ready for war Friday in Perth while I am away with Brandon and the Aussie team in Jordan. Wish we could be there but we know hes in good hands, try your best to get down and support him if you can. BOD

09.01.2022 A mixed bag last night for our club Bobby was unlucky getting caught by a sneaky southpaw in the second round with Ref calling it off. Bobby wasn’t hurt but he wasn’t seeing the southpaw back hand so good call by the ref. Bobby will only grow from it and learn he’ll be back in the gym Monday. Ben got a great win in his semi final, winning on points storming home in the last round with a great win. On to the finals next Saturday at the same place big card and we should have 5 boys boxing

09.01.2022 Thanks to James Lindley for the use of the new gym yesterday for our Futures Camp. Great camp venue and well done to all the boxers for their commitment.

09.01.2022 Asian Oceana Olympic Qualifiers all over, what a great team, very proud to be a part of their Olympic journey. 5 of our boxers qualified, but they all did their country and themselves proud. Those who didnt make it this time have one more chance in Paris and theyll be going there now knowing its achievable and even more determined to join their team mates whove shown them the way.

09.01.2022 Anthony had a brilliant start to his career tonight, he had to work hard against a tough boy but boxed his way to a good win. Onwards and upwards now hopefully well get a few more on next show see you all back in the gym Monday.

08.01.2022 I have just created a new Facebook page called Nashys Basic Elements and drills, it will have videos for all of our boxers to stay busy doing the right stuff while we are all away from the gym. Can somebody try and like it or friend it whatever you do ? Or do I need to invite you ?

03.01.2022 Tai and Ger both had losses last night but both performed very well and got a lot out of the experience. Tai now knows what needs working on and Ger got a good warm up for next weeks final.

02.01.2022 Getting the WA Futures Squad back into it this Sunday 14th June 9am at Competitive, time for everyone to get cracking again with WAs first show on 11th July. Anybody with any queries about the futures program feel free to give me a call 0403 588 834

01.01.2022 First WA futures camp since the pandemic yesterday the squad looked in good nick ready to go as soon as we can fight again.

01.01.2022 First fight of the night was Owen who stepped up to another level tonight winning clearly every round. Then Ben had a harder time than his last bout but came away with a hard fought narrow win. Straun continued to click up the fights and went great for 2 rounds landing continually but couldn’t sustain it in to the last. Again we all thought he had done enough but it wasn’t to be once again. Back in the gym on Monday everybody preparing for the next one.
