15.01.2022 Everything that happens in life is to teach us, and therefore Source, more about life. There are lessons for individuals, families, governments, countries, and beyond that come with Corona Virus. Some of these are clear and conscious(The experts are learning so much about how pandemics spread and behave, and the best ways to avoid this), some we will only discover once we have passed. We and Source are learning important lessons right now. This may not stop it being scary, or uncomfortable, but knowing that we are learning at least gives it a sense of reason. It takes away the desire to blame, and helps frame things so you can be alert, but not panicked. And that is what we all need now, awareness of our own needs, the needs of others, and doing what we can to keep our vulnerable people safe.

13.01.2022 Feeling lost sucks... especially when you actually know where you are - but there is a deeper feeling that you are not where you are meant to be. How do you find your way when you feel lost?

13.01.2022 Why should you self-isolate? I made this little video to share some numbers that really bring it home. It isn't about scaring you, but helping you realise that this is really important.

08.01.2022 Many are fearful right now. They fear for their lives, they fear for their loved ones. Fear can make us behave in ways that we wouldn't normally. Sometimes it makes us think only of our own needs. For some people with histories of trauma, this situation is bringing out the panic of fear of loss. They want to make themselves as safe as possible but they may not even be conscious they are doing it. Imagine being so scared that all you can think about is packing more resources... into your home, going deep into debt, for some people, in order to feather your nest against the scariest thing you have faced. Unfortunately, this is being met by frustration and anger in the parts of the community that might be fearful but are able to take a more measured approach. We all need to get to a point where we can be understanding that other people’s experiences are different than our own. This may mean taking time to help someone, not with goods, but with helping them understand the situation in a way that brings their fear down and their awareness of the impact of their choices up. There are lots of tools you can use to keep your own response measured and calm, while also keeping yourself safe. Trying to be understanding, instead of getting frustrated, can also help us avoid building more fear into our world. I find that thinking about the lessons we are all having helps me cope. I find that understanding that this might help governments learn enough to stop potential future outbreaks of even deadlier illness from spreading, also helps me stay calm.
