25.01.2022 He was born into a love story; one day, regardless of his journey, this image will remind him of that. If I strive for anything during my family sessions it’s authenticity, I want my families to see just how beautiful they are, just as they are.

21.01.2022 I am entirely ready to close the door on 2020. This year has been one of survival against a sea of constant challenges, challenges that have left me speechless, broken and lost. I am grateful for each and every person who carried me through, for every act of kindness and love, for those who supported me and my family, for the trust and encouragement, for the reminders that the sweetest moments are simple, slow and in good company.

19.01.2022 Grateful for friends who have patience with me whilst I explore my expression.

18.01.2022 A portrait of Mily.

16.01.2022 I will always seek to capture you; your love, your connection. Motherhood looks different on all of us but where there is love there is undeniable beauty. We don’t have to have it all planned out, we don’t need to have it picture perfect, just your authentic self in the space you call home and those who you love by your side.

14.01.2022 A souvenir from our weekend in Mission Beach, not only celebrating a family birthday but also shooting my first wedding of 2020! You can find me buried in a mountain of editing for the next few weeks, unless you’re chasing a Father’s Day shoot, then I will gladly meet you at the beach x

14.01.2022 There is an intimacy in motherhood during these early years that just can’t compare to the relationships we have with anyone else in our lives. This space we share with our children is probably the most unguarded of spaces and the intimacy can be as heart warming as it can be challenging. . Our stories of motherhood will all read differently, yet we’ll all face days when we’re just trying to hold back the tears and others where we surprise ourselves by our own resilience. .... Whatever your story looks like you don’t have to dig deep to find the beauty in this season of life, it’s there in the simplest of moments. @ Cairns, Queensland, Australia See more

13.01.2022 Slow Sunday’s making memories.

13.01.2022 Sentimental spaces, a golden sunrise, hazelnut coffee and taking a moment to share life stories, summarises this beautiful session pretty well. I can’t stress enough how much I appreciate being invited to share and capture these intimate moments. I have been so privileged to meet so many wonderful people on this new path of mine and I value every single moment of these connections. If you’d like to meet for a sunrise session, maybe share a coffee or two, I still have a few we...ekends available in Nov & Dec. @ Trinity Beach, Queensland, Australia

08.01.2022 If I can promise anything during my family sessions, it’s that I will take the time to capture your family as I capture my own. These moments are important, they are real and raw, fleeting but heartwarming and entirely worthy of documenting. @ Cairns, Queensland, Australia

04.01.2022 Between darkness & light.

04.01.2022 I came to the realisation today that my baby girl is approaching adulthood at the speed of light! As I sat next to her in the senior coordinator’s office, to discuss her subject choices moving forward, I honestly felt as if my presence was obsolete. She’s fierce, she knows what she wants and it’s not up for discussion. I think it’s the first time I’ve felt that and I’m not sure I’m ready for it. . This incredible young woman made me a mother at only 19 and so I suppose being a mother, whatever that’s looked like over the years, has always been how I’ve identified. I have an enormous amount of pride in her but I just didn’t expect this feeling to arrive so soon. . This portrait is from a sunset we shared together recently, just the two of us.

04.01.2022 I honestly had too many favourites from this sweet little shoot so I’ve shared a bit of a scroll through the gallery in my stories. Please send more sessions like this my way!

02.01.2022 One slow Sunday morning.

01.01.2022 I’m always so moved by celebrations of culture, there is so much beauty to be shared through song, dance, art. Being invited to work on this project with @bobby_alu , @jahna.vaele and her beautiful sisters, capturing their traditional dance was an incredible experience. I left that shoot with a full heart.

01.01.2022 New beginnings.
