From a neurology perspective it is so important that babies start to have short bursts of ‘tummy time’ - and holding their heads up. 22.01.2022 Ending the week with one of my favourite patients, my 85 year old dad in for his routine checkup. Did you know regular visits with a chiropractor can benefit elderly patients in many ways. As our older patients tend to suffer with arthritis, decreased flexibility, joint degeneration and balance problems. Our chiropractic treatment involves gentle adjustments to the body with a controlled force using an impulse adjusting machine and soft tissue work to release tight muscles ...and promote circulation. There is no age limit on chiropractic and we treat patients well into their 90’s. As our bodies age, it becomes more and more important to stay healthy and active and chiropractic can be a safe and efficient way for seniors to stay healthy, active and independent.

19.01.2022 I am so lucky to have such an amazing job! After 33 years in practice I never get sick of treating little ones as cute as this little boy Arlo. His mum brought him in for a nervous system check-up. These early years of life are so important in the development of motor control. Children who present with - Not rolling over - Baby only feeding on one side ... - Baby developing a misshapen head - Baby crawling while dragging one leg or bum shuffling Could all be signs of a subluxation in the spine or pelvis. When treating kids, specifically infants light adjustments are made using a device called an impulse machine or activator. With newborns very gentle and specific fingertip pressure is used. Starting your baby off with chiropractic care gives them a strong foundation. In practice we see that children who are adjusted regularly benefit from a stronger immune system, better sleep, improved energy, concentration and behaviour.

10.01.2022 So grateful to this amazing patient/friend Maree for sending me these beautiful flowers in such turmoil times. She could see how stressed I was with the phone/internet problems we are having at the clinic and how worried I am for many of my patients losing their jobs. We are still working at the clinic as we are allied health practitioners. Just be reassured my staff are working tirelessly on sanitising the rooms and couches. 09.01.2022 I am truly the luckiest chiropractor around. I was truly blessed yesterday checking this gorgeous baby Ayla for any nervous system disruption. She is perfect in every way ! 04.01.2022 To help STOP the spread the of COVID-19 we have temporarily closed the clinic. We hope to reopen on Tuesday 21st April. We all need a break from the vigorous cleaning regime we have been implementing to keep our patients safe and healthy. Don’t worry when we return we will be scrubbing those treatment couches again.
