22.01.2022 What a weekend we had!!! Thanks to Queensland Showjumping Club for putting on a great weekend at QSEC! Royal Talisman jumped clear round the 1.25m on Saturday for 10th and then did his first Grand Prix starting height 1.35m jumped clear first round. Went up 2 holes for jump off and we finished 7th with 1 rail. I’m absolutely over the moon with him he tried his heart out for me yet again and proved he’s got the scope to do it! Sunday he placed 3rd in the 1.25m and 4th in the ...1.35m. BEP Supa Nova had a great weekend jumping round double clear for 6th place in the 1m and 7th in the 1.10m on Saturday. Sunday again double clear with a super jump off to place 4th in the 1.10m. Royal Sensation had a good show jumping around the 1m with plenty of confidence, 1 rail, followed by placing 9th in the 1.10m on Saturday clear first round and 1 unlucky rail in the jump off. 1 rail in the 1.10m on Sunday but very happy with him. Arnie had another outing and jumped around the 80 and 90cm with 1 rail. Plenty of scope just getting him out and about more to get the striding rideable with his long legs A big thank you to Jeanette Matslofva for the great photos and Barry for videoing! as well as helping out between! Also to @Katie Gorell for putting us up over night. It was great to catch up and only a small commute instead of a big one. Thanks to Horseland Underwood for having me kitted our head to toe! Jump training 95cm with plenty of scope to go higher. She's been cross country schooling and has schooled water jumps and ditches along with some skinny fences and apexes. Arnie is a gentle giant, a very sweet natured horse with 3 lovely paces. 14.01.2022 It’s been a sad couple of days knowing my first true 1 in a million horse was to cross the Kolora Stud Archie had the heart of a lion, and he put that heart and soul into everything he did. He truly was the horse that ignited my passion for Eventing beyond anything I could of imagined when my parents purchased him for me at age 16 from Michelle Lang-mcmahon . Any task we set Archie was up for it, and with the help of my wonderful coaches we kicked goals every step of the wa...y! I owe this horse soo much and would not be the rider or person I am today without him, nor would we have the farm and now be able to do what I love for a living without him. Archie and I were on State and National Squads from when I finished school in 2004 until 2008 and travelled around the country with many 1st and 2nd’s at 3* and 4* ODE’s and 3DE’s he was my heart horse and just had the best personality of any horse I’d ever met . At the end of 2008 we had an offer I could not refuse and Archie jet setted off to England to his new home. I still remember the messages from when he landed. He just walked off and took it in his stride, i think he quite likes jet setting life . Archie competed at international events around Europe for the next few years before retiring to dressage with the lovely @Imogen Knight who had groomed for him Eventing and then enjoyed competing him successfully in Dressage herself. Tim and I visited Archie in 2013 at the beautiful Hobbs Hole Farm. He still remembered me, knickered to me as I walked to him in the paddock and came straight up for a long awaited hug. And their was happy tears because I knew that he was in the best home I ever could of wished for. Lush pasture in the day and a comfy stable every night and people that loved him. The king of the stable as everyone referred to him. Thank you Richard and family and Imogen for looking after him and loving him just as much as I did. Their is nothing that makes you happier than seeing a horse you love soo much in a wonderful home. Even better when they stay in touch Until we meet again Archie - Rest easy mate

06.01.2022 An update on Nova . Larapinta Showjumping Premiere https://www.facebook.com/larapintashowjumping A spectacular venue south of Brisbane. Nova had a cracker two d...ays, with the first comp 1:15m on Saturday a real trial with big atmosphere, lots of fill and a water jump. She handled it very well and although had two rails, I was super proud as 20% of the field either retired or were eliminated. A great job by Nat. Sunday was a day with supercells, rain, hail and wind. Luckily came in after her rounds. She finished a super clear to get 5th in the CLASS 11A: Marsh Advantage Special Two Phase (274.2) 1.10m And last but not least a WIN in the CLASS 10A: Wilson Equestrian Special Two Phase (274.2) 1.00m See more
