23.01.2022 Cap rates vs ROI - When calculating the value or likely sale price of your pharmacy, or assessing a pharmacy to buy, the capitalisation rate and return on investment will be critical items to consider. While often the capitalisation rate for a pharmacy is (incorrectly) called the return on investment (or ROI), it is important to note that they are not the same thing! 05.01.2022 Good news for anyone looking to buy a pharmacy, according to the Attain Pharmacy Market Sentiment Survey March 2021, approximately 37% of pharmacy owners in the sample will be looking to sell their pharmacy (or one of) within the next 5 years; 9% of the sample are looking to sell within the next 6 months. This should hopefully increase the supply of pharmacies on the market, which has been low for some time now.
