The Creative Kids program provides a yearly $100 voucher to support students tuition costs for creative arts, speech, drama, dance, digital design, coding, and music lessons and activities.... 16.01.2022 The NSW Government has expanded fee-free Summer Skills training courses for NSW school leavers in 2021 as part of the Skilling for Recovery initiative. The Program now includes seven TAFE NSW online short courses including introductory training in business and digital skills. These are funded from the $320 million committed to delivering 100,000 fee-free training places as part of the JobTrainer initiative. Enrolments are open for Summer Skills online training in: ... 16.01.2022 The Gladys Berejiklian Government has invested $400 million to build 10 new or upgraded schools to ensure more than 5,300 students across NSW will be learning from Term 1 in new and improved environments. Over the past two years the NSW Government has opened more than 100 new or upgraded schools as part of our historic school building program. 06.01.2022 PALLIATIVE CARE UNIT OPENS AT MONA VALE As part of the $619 million upgrade of Northern Beaches health facilities patients nearing the final stages of life will be supported and cared for closer to home with a new, purpose-built palliative care unit The new inpatient building, located at Mona Vale Hospital, has a dedicated 10-bed palliative care unit and a 10-bed Geriatric Evaluation and Management unit. ... These new services will bring together urgent care, community health, diagnostic, rehabilitation and other speciality services and further boost the number of medical staff on site. The Gladys Berejiklian Government is committed to providing best practice multi-disciplinary palliative care services that give patients and their families real choice and support. Since 2017, the NSW Government has invested an extra $145 million to palliative care, on top of an annual investment of $220 million. In the 2020-21 Budget we committed an additional $56 million for palliative care services.
