22.01.2022 Dear Residents of City of Perth, I am nominating to provide better representation in Perth Electorate, and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Council. Over the past two years, I have become disheartened by the controversy and disharmony within the Council. It is due to lack of proper governance and accountability, also the lack of appropriate consultation with electors. I can be a strong representation in bridging the community with the Council. The current e...conomy down turn has hit local businesses badly, the empty retail & apartment spaces in the city is a major concern to many. I have a background in MBA (International Business), over 30 years of work experience with Australian Government agencies both overseas and in W.A, and a volunteer for almost 20 years. I strive to focus on the grass-root issues, such as affordable parking fees, parking amenities, public facilities, increase event attractions to boost visitation to the Perth CBD. Your vote for me means: A fresh voice for a change in accountability and transparency of Council, in particular for reducing rate hikes and financial waste. You will be represented by a local resident who actively participate in your Community Someone who WILL listen to your opinions and discuss your concerns. You will get more direct consultation and feedback on changes and improvement. The election package will reach you end of September, or three weeks prior to polling day (October 21st). The package will include a list of candidates, ballot papers and instructions on how to vote. Your completed postal voting package must reach the Returning Officer by 6.00pm on Election Day.
