08.01.2022 How often should you be posting on social media? While there is no ‘right’ answer, posting regularly has shown to be effective in growing your brand. The key words to remember are:... Quality & Consistency It is more important to post consistent, high quality content then being sporadic with your posting schedule. We like to follow a rule of x3 posts per week, per platform. This is an achievable goal for most businesses. If that’s too much, don’t feel disheartened. Remember, it’s better to post less regularly as long as you’re posting high quality content. A good goal to set yourself is having a set posting day (e.g. Mondays). Make it a habit, then build it up until you get comfortable posting more often. For Facebook, you can repost content quite easily from your IG account. However, make sure you go back and edit your Facebook posts. Longer form content performs better on Facebook so expand on your caption. You should also limit your Facebook hashtags to around 5-10 per post. Our chart on slide 5, shows you the maximum posts for each platform. This refers to the limit of posts, which, once you hit, won’t make a difference to your social metrics. For example, posting four times a day on Instagram will give you the same results as posting twice a day.
