11.01.2022 APPRECIATION POST: Massive thanks to Sam and his boys from A1 Auscrete Group Pty Ltd for their amazing work yesterday at my place! These boys also did all the concrete footings for my front wall ... nothing was ever too much trouble. Really happy with how it all turned out, make sure you give these guys a call when you are ready for your driveway

05.01.2022 Plans approved by the developer, now lodging to CDC for approval! Because private certifiers only take 10 days to approve a DA instead of councils taking up to 9 weeks, it means I should be able to start my next build in Box Hill this month!

04.01.2022 Woohoo!!! Ready to start my next big project in The Gables, Box Hill!! Once being placed on the construction list MJH are on site within 20 days to commence the build. Loving the updates via SMS I will post photo updates of this build as often as I can so watch this space!

02.01.2022 So great to see some work happening on my build site! Average pier depth here is 1.4m and 50 piers in total Piering is done before the slab is poured ... at McDonald Jones we charge $90 per lineal metre and we credit you back at the same rate if we don't use the nominated amount!! I think it's always a good idea to allow yourself more than you need so you don't get caught out during construction
