20.02.2022 No lifting equipment . People ask Why don’t you use a belt? Why no straps? 200 is heavy, you should use a belt.... . First thing is heaviness is relative, what’s heavy for you might not be heavy for me and vice-Versa. . Also with the lifting accessories. I don’t like carrying a camping bag with me all over the gym like I’m about to pitch a tent. . So train your grip so you don’t need the straps to lift anything heavy. . Then train your core so you don’t need a belt (unless you’re lifting copious amounts of weight which includes PB’s etc). . 05.01.2022 Shoutout to my client Kane Kane came into Dans Gym at the beginning of 2018 looking to improve his overall health/fitness and wanted some extra hands on guidance in his journey. Fortunately for me he had been referred on from family member and we had agreed to work together to find ways best adhering to his goals! Since then we’ve slowly improved his posture, he’s changed his eating habits (despite the extra challenge being a chef) with only a little extra guidance from m...yself, he’s changed his fitness routine and can happily kick the footy and chase his son around the oval and obviously he’s lost over 20 kilos without limiting his food intake and just being more conscious of what he’s putting in his mouth! 02.01.2022 STOP changing your meal plan! . We see people jumping on and off mainstream diet plans all the time. For two weeks it’s Keto, then for three weeks after it’s fasting, all because the fat wasn’t coming off fast enough! .... If you’re following eating guidelines or a meal plan; Don’t become discouraged if it doesn’t work instantly! . It takes time for your body to adjust and react (2 weeks is usually a MINIMUM).
