23.01.2022 SUPPORTING EACH OTHER THROUGH THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC We hope this post finds you and your family all safe and well. As we all know the COVID-19 global pandemic has disrupted our lives. It is important to acknowledge this, and also look at the ways we can help ourselves, our colleagues, families and friends stay safe and well as we deal with a rapidly evolving situation. We must also keep abreast of all issues and national guidelines set out by Federal and State governments ...with regard to restrictions and easing of restrictions that will enable us to get back on the playing field of the sport we love. Sadly a second wave of coronavirus has hit Victoria / Melbourne and has brought the state into a total lockdown situation. New South Wales is also showing strong signs of a potential second wave of coronavirus, which now threatens to bring a potential lockdown in that state as well. The coronavirus outbreak has led to a great deal of uncertainty about the 2020 sporting calendar throughout Australia, with many sporting bodies already cancelling games and events due to restrictions on contact and distancing in sport. Over the past seven months we have held monthly meetings with all State Directors regarding resuming the NAS competition throughout Australia for the remainder 2020. We have been unable to recommence the NAS circuit due to government guidelines and restrictions. NAS / NATIONAL ALL STYLES TOURNAMENT CIRCUIT POTENTIAL EVENTS FOR 2020. - SUBJECT TO COVID I’m an optimist, hoping that things will settle down by September, so we can hold the following NAS tournament events subject to COVID-19 A/ Queensland State Open Championship (October 18th Cararra Indoor Stadium Gold Coast) B/ New South Wales State Open Championship (TBA) C/ Victoria State Open Championship (October 25th TBA) D/ Australian Capital Territory State Open Championship (September TBA) E/ 2020 NAS National Open Championships Gold Coast (December 5-6) Note: All the above events are subject to the current COVID-19 situation. I would also like to thank you for your continued support. Please share with friends Thank you Yours in Martial Arts, James Casey President CEO/ NAS National all Styles Australia

20.01.2022 Dear Family’s, Instructors, Officials and competitors. It is with the deepest regret that all future NAS- Tournament events around Australia have to be canceled and put on hold due to Australian Government and health authority advice. As such, we cannot proceed with future NAS tournament events until advise by government authorities and heath officials.... Due to the rapid escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic has created an exceptional and unprecedented set of circumstances here in Australia and all around the world. The National Cabinet has accepted the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) advice that non-essential indoor gatherings of greater than 100 people (including staff) will no longer be permitted from Wednesday 18 March 2020. Which includes all sporting bodies. This include essential participants (players, coaches, match officials, staff and volunteers involved in operations, and parents and guardians and spectators. Note; An indoor gathering refers to a gathering within a single enclosed area (i.e. an area, room or premises that is or are substantially enclosed by a roof and walls, regardless of whether the roof or walls or any part of them are permanent, temporary, open or closed). Future NAS tournament; No future scheduled NAS events will proceed until advised by the Australian Government and health authority’s until its safe to do so. We very much appreciate the assistance, understanding, support and cooperation of everyone involved in what has been a challenging and unprecedented time for all of us. Please look after yourselves, your family’s and stay safe.... God Bless Yours in Martial Arts Mr. Jim Casey President CEO -Owner National All Styles Australia

08.01.2022 YOU ARE AWESOME CHILDREN Kids and sport it’s a great mix. Playing sport helps children and teenagers build healthy minds, healthy bodies, friendships and life skills. By teaching your child how to be a good sport from early on, you help them get the most out of being part of the game. Sports are great place to start your child’s developmental growth from a number of aspects. Of course, it will assist in their physical fitness and coordination. ... Sports are also a brilliant way to encourage a child and their behavioural development; whether it be to help them understand the frameworks of teamwork or to help to grow their own inner confidence. Self-esteem is feeling good about yourself. Good self-esteem helps children try new things, take healthy risks and solve problems. It gives them a solid foundation for their learning and development. Congratulation to all those who competed at this years NAS National in Melbourne .... You all did yourself and family’s proud We look forward to seeing everyone in 2020

08.01.2022 Doing the right thing when it’s the right thing to do Integrity Means Doing The Right Thing Because It’s The Right Thing To Do. Leaders with integrity may not be the most famous or flashy of leaders, and they don’t care. Integrity means doing the right thing because it is the right thing to do. And that’s what makes success.... Leaders keep their promises. They give promises carefully, even reluctantly, but once they have given that promise, they follow through on that promise without fail. And they always tell the truth. It is perhaps the most important principle of leadership and dependent on integrity because it demands truthfulness and honesty. Many companies and organizations fail because they don’t follow the reality principle. Integrity means telling the truth even if the truth is ugly. Better to be honest than to delude others, because then you are probably deluding yourself, too. Yours in martial arts

03.01.2022 Our true Aussie spirit is support your mates and love ones. We all have something deep within us that we can reach down and find the inner strength and courage. It’s in all of us, the true Aussie spirit not to quit on each other or our mates. Poems about Hardship and sticking together!... Part of the reality of life is hardship. That is not a negative statement. It is simply a statement of fact. Every day brings new challenges. Living with the expectation that life will be difficult makes hard times easier to deal with. When a family encounters hard times they will need to join together and face the challenge as a team. They will need to be sensitive to the needs of individual family members each of whom will face unique difficulties. Life is not easy, but having a support system makes life that much easier through these hard times! From us to you Take care.
