Following the announcements by the Australian governments of further restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic, Re...nault Australia has welcomed the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) advice that automotive dealers will remain open to provide sales and service support to customers. The operation of motor vehicle dealerships, their service and repair centres and key supply chain facilities play a critical part in supplying essential services to the community. With the increasing focus on social distancing, safe and reliable private transport is essential to enable communities and businesses to continue to operate. Renault Australia CEO Anouk Poelmann said while dealerships were open, the health and safety of all Renault Australia dealer employees would remain the number one priority.
