21.01.2022 Stay home and Stay safe

18.01.2022 Please listen from the organisers. Well done to North India Federation for taking firm stance for Mandatory Drug Testing. Together we can have Drug Free Kabaddi.

08.01.2022 : Dear Member Clubs, Over the past week, the ANSSACC Executive Committee and the Perth Organising Committee have been assessing the potential impact of the global spread of COVID-19 on the Australian Sikh Games 2020. We have closely monitored the situation in recent days and have worked with the relevant government health departments, Curtin University and other stakeholders. We are committed to following the guidelines set by the Fed...eral and Western Australian governments to ensure a safe environment for our athletes, spectators and service providers. It is with considerable regret and sadness that the decision has been made that the Australian Sikh Games 2020 will NOT PROCEED as planned from 10 to 12 April 2020. This decision has NOT been made lightly but based upon the following considerations: Our number one priority being the health and well being of the Australian Sikh Games community; Announcement by the Prime Minister today advising against holding non-essential, organised public gatherings of more than 500 people from Monday 16th March 2020; Australian and Western Australian Government Health Department guidelines; Discussions with our venue partner and sports officials; Projections of COVID-19 cases expected to peak in 4-6 week time; Cancellation of a number of sporting, entertainment, and festivals across Australia; Feedback from ANSSACC member clubs; and Our obligation to all members to act in a socially responsible manner and in line with community expectation. ANSSACC acknowledges that the Australian Sikh Games is a highly anticipated event on the Sikh community calendar and that vast amounts of effort, finances and coordination goes into preparing teams to attend the games. Over the next few days we will finalise matters that result from this decision and ANSSACC will issue a formal statement this coming week after consultation with key stakeholders including but not limited to Federal Government, Tourism WA and Curtin University. We thank you for your support and your commitment to the Australian Sikh Games. Yours sincerely, ANSSACC Executive Committee Perth Organising Committee
