12.01.2022 2017 National Police Remembrance Day #29September #WeWillRemember

12.01.2022 Today makes one year since we lost a highly respected and much-loved member of our police family, Sergeant Geoffrey Richardson. Sergeant Geoffrey Richardson f...rom the Port Stephens Local Area Command was killed when the police car he was driving crashed into a tree on Lovedale Road, Allandale, on Saturday 5 March 2016. He was a hard-working, highly regarded, popular and committed police officer, who enthusiastically served the community after his graduation from the NSW Police Academy in 1998. He is sorely missed by the organisation he so ably represented and the communities he diligently served. Above all else, he was a loving and much-loved husband and father and today our thoughts are with Sergeant Richardson’s family. Rest in peace Sarge.

Read that last sentence again, because we really want the policing family in Australia to understand that Blue HOPE exists exclusively for them. Our website contains information on: * How to access help for yourself or another * Anxiety, Depression & PTSD * How to become a Backup Buddy * How to transition out of policing and into another career * Our Board and Ambassadors * Our Vision, Mission and Values * How to fundraise for Blue HOPE * Our SiXTY4SiXTY Program (call to action - help us help you) * Upcoming Events and much more If you believe in what we do, if you want a police specific service for all police in Australia (both current and former), if you agree with our 'Cops for Cops' model, put your money where your heart is and give just a little. Last but not least. Please share this. There are still police out there that don't know that Blue HOPE exists and that needs to change because lives are at risk. We are constantly on the lookout for THAT cop that needs us the most. You can help by simply sharing this - you might just save a life (it's happened before). Blue HOPE is saving lives.
