23.01.2022 NATIONAL SENIORS AUSTRALIA CLEVELAND BRANCH I am sending this letter out to invite you on behalf of the Cleveland National Seniors to join us on the trips we have enclosed or to our monthly meeting ... or our Christmas party with entertainment in the RSL on Friday December 18th Arrive 9.45am Entertainment starts 10.15am Lunch 12.00 Cost $25 Exchange a present in Santa Sack Book with Peter on 32070348 asap. Monthly Meetings Our monthly meetings are held on the third Friday of the month at the Cleveland RSL at 9.45 am. Morning Tea is provided. We also have interesting guest speakers that keeps us informed with matters of interest to people of our age or entertainment. It is also a good time for fellowship with our peers. Extended Day Bus Trips We offer, at least once a month, a day trip to various points of interest in the Greater Brisbane area, with some even expanding to the Great South East. We also run the occasional club trip for a morning melodies. These we keep reasonably priced. I have enclosed our calander and bus pick up points and times for your perusal. As you can see, they are full days of fun. Monthly Luncheon We get together on a monthly basis, for a lunch in one of local Bayside venues. This is a good time for fellowship and chat with our peers. Christmas Luncheon We would like to extend our invitation to our Christmas Luncheon with entertainment. This includes a 2 course meal, prepared by the executive chef Grant, of the Cleveland RSL. Coach starts Renaissance at 7.45am with pick-ups through to Capalaba as per time table WEDNESDAY FEBUARY 10TH Trip to Eagle Farm to the TradeCoast Heritage Park. The story of this Eagle Farm site from convict women’s prison, through early aviation Events to wartime support base, and International Airport. This tour is new to us and features three heritage listed sites. 03.01.2022 A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO RESIDENTS AND YOUR FAMILYS AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR - INFORMATION FOR RESIDENTS ... We start the New-year with our first committee meeting for 2016 on MONDAY JANUARY 11TH which also happens to be my 87th Birthday. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FRIDAY JANUARY 15TH GENERAL MEETING IN THE RSL. Doors open at 9.15am and the meeting starts at 9.40 approx. We always have a good guest speaker, and a very good raffle, also books and DVDS on sale.
