25.01.2022 Today is National Sorry Day - Today we remember our people who were directly impacted by the horrifying forced removal of children policies. We would to like commemorate this day by releasing this video which is one of the topics that is covered in our newly formed Cultural Appreciation eLearnig training. We believe that not only did these policies have detrimental impacts to those who were directly involved but to those who still have to overcome the inter-generational traum...a that we carry with us today. Through our training programs we list this topic as a current issue not past! This video is beautifully presented by my daughter Tianie Scott-Knight and inspired by her great grandparents on both sides of her family. ***WARNING*** this video may trigger emotions to people who are still dealing with the impacts of our past. Also a warning to family members of Tianie that this may affect you directly. To find out more about our Cultural Appreciation training, please contact us directly here or through our webpage www.nites.biz Clinton Scott-Knight #sorryday #appreciation #pride #family #reconciliation #healing
25.01.2022 We have had a busy but enjoyable Reconciliation Week. It started with Cultural Appreciation Training with Department of Education and the Department of Health and finished off with a Reconciliation quiz at the Department of Infrastructure, a Reconciliation walk at the Therapeutic Goods Association and a Reconciliation Walk at the Department of Health. Today we began the walk with the Department of Health with a minute silence to show our respects to the people we lost this week in the Canberra community. www.nites.biz #groundedintruth #treatyvoicetruth #rip #culturalappreciation #reconiliationiseveryonesbusiness #stillalongwaytogo

This video highlights how treaty can be one of those ideas. www.nites.biz

22.01.2022 Clinton Scott-Knight debunking the myth of savages, uncivilised and primitive. That Aboriginal people have deep structures that underpin peoples responsibilities, obligations and behaviours. Our systems gave us purpose and direction where people knew exactly who they are, where they came from, who they were connected too and how we were connected through our spirituality to the land and every living thing on the land. #culture #appreciation www.nites.biz
