24.01.2022 Meet Andrew Collis! Andrew will be appearing in "La Clemenza di Tito" as Publio in April. A member of the Cologne Opera from 1993 to 2007, Andrew Collis has also performed with opera companies in Berlin, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Essen, Frankfurt, Mannheim and Wiesbaden and in concerts in Bonn, Strasbourg, Stuttgart, and the recording of Zemlinsky's Der Zwerg in Cologne for EMI. Andrew’s international performances have included appearances at the Vienna Festival, Hong Kong Festiv...al, Perth Festival as soloist with the Prague Chamber Orchestra. 21.01.2022 Meet Peter Coleman-Wright AO our Artistic Director! Peter plays the vital role of Director for "La Clemenza di Tito. Peter brings this production to life in the Llewellyn Hall ANU. Peter Coleman-Wright is widely considered one of the most versatile singers in the world today, equally home in opera, concert and recital. His extensive and varied repertoire has taken him to many of the worlds greatest Opera Companies and Concert Halls. He has sung throughout Europe at La Scala M...ilan, La Fenice Venice, Netherlands Opera, Munich, Geneva, Paris, Bordeaux, Flanders and at the Aix-en Provence and Bregenz Festivals. In the United Kingdom he has been a frequent guest of the Royal Opera Covent Garden, English National Opera and Glyndebourne Festival. He has worked for the Aldeburgh Festival at the BBC Proms and with all the leading orchestras at London’s South Bank, Albert Hall, The Barbican, Bridgewater Hall and the Wigmore Halls. In North America he has sung at the Metropolitan Opera New York, New York City Opera, Houston, Santa Fe and Vancouver. He has sung extensively for Opera Australia and has worked with all the major symphony orchestras throughout all the principal Concert Halls. Peter was recognised as an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2015 for distinguished service to the performing arts as an operatic baritone, as a mentor and role model for young singers, and through fundraising support for opera companies.
