25.01.2022 PROJECT | Our client required a sustained flow transfer of 150l/s from a deep pit on site to enable access to meet mining scheduling. National Pump & Energy delivered a complete dewatering solution for water management for this Mid-West mining client. NPE was responsible for full system design of the submersible pumps feeding to an onshore high-head diesel booster pump with supporting infrastructure of power generation, starters, cabling, step-up transformer, piping, and fitt...ings. A solar powered telemetry system was also installed for the site for transparent B2B Monitoring and remote control of the system. NPE’s fast turnaround from request to operation ensured minimal delays to ensure the effective delivery of dewatering equipment and services. Delivering an impressive 140l/s at 170TDH this pumping installation in the Goldfields in Western Australia has simplified pit dewatering operations. The brine pumping solution was calibrated for the location’s requirements, and the pontoon was configured for the site’s specific gravity. NPE selected the NPE 200-180, with QSK23 engine, to get the job done. A comprehensive comms package, designed and installed by NPE, ensured... the client and NPE could monitor the pump remotely in real-time. This protects the pump and motor but also avoids costly downtime. NPE account manager Andrew Hoare said the pontoon’s fuel lines were all fully bunded and equipped with leak detection.
