07.01.2022 Did you catch the video of Scott Morrison's sermon at the Australian Christian Churches national conference last week? The PM used a government Dassault Falcon jet, the type operated by the Royal Australian Air Force for VIP flights for dignitaries and politicians, to fly to and from the conference. A spokesperson for the PM said this kind of engagement is not out of the ordinary.... The Prime Minister was invited to address Tuesday night’s event the same as he attends many other stakeholder events, including for other religious groups such as the Copts, Maronites, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and Muslim." But let's be honest about this. The PM did not merely "attend the event" -- he used taxpayer-funded government transport to deliver a sermon at a religious gathering.
