12.01.2022 Great to have David Smith, local MLAs and others interested in our local heritage visit the Tuggeranong Schoolhouse Museum yesterday.

11.01.2022 Yesterday around 60 teams of cyclists set out to see how many of the 40 checkpoints, many at heritage sites, around Canberra they could find. First they plotted their course, then they headed out, some got lost in Dickson, others took a 'short cut', and finally they got back to base - weary and sore but happy - where the Minister for Heritage, Rebecca Vassarotti, handed out prizes! #heritagefestival21 #heritagepolaris21

11.01.2022 The Heritage Festival starts soon and we have a number of events happening! There's the Heritage Polaris - a navigating and cycling event around Canberra (see www.heritagepolaris.com.au) and several Heritage Walks. For something different, join us on Thursday 15 April at the Verity Lane Markets in Civic for a talk by Jenny Horsfield who has written about Verity Hewitt (after whom Verity Lane was named) in her book entitled 'A Bookshop in Wartime'. For information about all our events go to www.nationaltrust.org.au/act/ for details.
