23.01.2022 We're so proud to have the travelling Reconciliation NSW School Art Exhibition visit some of our properties. It's the last few days at Dundullimal Homestead, then Brough House will be open every weekend 10am - 3pm from Saturday 26 June until Sunday 22 August 2021. The local community and wider areas are all invited to enjoy this superb display of students' artwork, illustrating what reconciliation means to them. Booking isn't essential, please just check when the property is open first.

21.01.2022 Norman Lindsay’s affinity with cats began when a neighbour gifted him two handsome white felines. They turned out to be very useful at keeping snakes at bay, earning Lindsay’s gratitude many times over. Thereafter, he always had a few special ‘studio cats' From 3 December, our fun exhibition at Norman Lindsay Gallery features the artist’s Springwood cats in all their colourful glory. This year’s awards celebrated Aboriginal Heritage, with two winners in this category. 'The Springs: An Aboriginal Journey', was entered by Orange City Council and the Orange Local Aboriginal Land Council, and 'Darug Caring-as-Country Project' was entered by Yanama Budyari Gumada Collective. 09.01.2022 Last night, the winner of the Holding Redlich People’s Choice Award from works selected for the 2020 Salon des Refusés at the S.H. Ervin Gallery, was announced! This award is selected by visitors to the exhibition. Over its history the award has been given to 19 portrait paintings and 2 figure sculptures. This announcement is therefore significant, as it is the first time a landscape painting has taken home the award. 07.01.2022 In Parramatta Square there is currently a #storybox featuring a portrait of Brian Powyer by Brad Robson. It's been a year since we lost our very beloved President and he was one of New South Wales' greatest advocates for heritage. He loved it - all of it. He loved teaching people about it, sharing the story of history and speaking up to protect the irreplaceable places that matter most to our community. This was especially true of #Parramatta. We miss you Brian. Thank you for everything you did for heritage in New South Wales.
