Change has included the introduction of a Fleet Maintenance Provider (AMS), enhancement of our Sales Team, expansion of the NationWide Hire Agency Footprint to include 12 locations, and the appointment of our new Executive Management Team lead by new CEO James (Max) Walker.... Max is an accomplished Maintenance Manager with an extensive defence background. Max has supervised and participated in maintenance projects at all stages and phases. His experience draws from positions held as a tradesman, workshop supervisor, technical advisor, technical trainer, outdoor leadership instructor, and Manager of heavy maintenance activities. Maxs history also includes running his own successful earthmoving business, Operations and Safety Management in the remote WA resource sector, and is currently a company director in an unrelated industry. They have been an integral part of our business in the Top End with a wealth of experience and know how in all facets pertaining to the Mining, Infrastructure, Construction and Defence Industries. The NWH office is located in their business at East Arm with easy access to rail, sea and road services. The workshop facility consists of 1350 m2 with three vehicle hoists and two f...ive tonne overhead cranes enabling maintenance and servicing on the largest vehicles. They specialise in FRCP inspections (mine site compliance), all registration inspections, electronic diagnostics, engines reconditioning, MEWP inspections. Air-con repairs the list goes on. Major clients include the ADF, Genesee & Wyoming Australia and QUBE Ports. It would be fair to say that there is very little to do with mechanical problems that they are unable to solve. NationWide Hire recently provided the transport for the 10th Anniversary of the Zonta Club of Brisbane Breakfast's Annual Birthing Kit Project. The birthing kits are delivered to many communities, some extremely remote, via trained teams that educate both women and men about the birthing process. These teams, comprised of medical practitioners, guides and translators, offer practical advice to the whole community that increase ...the survival rate for mothers and babies and in turn contributes to their overall prosperity. The project has provided 15,000 mothers to be with the 6 basic necessities required to give birth safely.
