23.01.2022 Whilst not anything major, the odd angles and out of square placement of Carport to Fence made this a little tricky, but attention to detail highlights a now neat lattice screen finish, in place of old screens, and tidied up by additional pavers along fence line and a new pine gate to match (suitably top coated in cabots clear offering a little longer exterior protection and detail) If you have ideas you would like explored or undertaken, give us a shoutout via DM or 1300724196

17.01.2022 Someone lopped nearby tree branches and broke roof tiles but did not own up to it. A little later, much rain. Result? Water entry into roof space and severe damage to ceiling and contents, requiring full replacement of ceiling.... What should have been a simple repair to a few damaged roof tiles turned into an extensive exercise and cost. Luckily, this client had insurance cover and his Insurer came to the party. At time of these pics, primer coats and topcoats still to do, but once done, Outcome was awesome and another happy customer. 15.01.2022 Remedial works to this 70s patio, targeting damage caused by long term water entry to several elements of this upper patio. Works included replacement of rotted pergola rafters and purlins, new paint to pergola, polycarbonate roofing reinstated with correct fall using new fixings, new roof flashings, floor control joint redone, floor waterproofing sealants to tiled edges replaced, rusty railing anchor points cleaned up and zinc primed, concrete cancer attended too and replacement mortar to upper building facade/patio floor junction repaired and repainted.

06.01.2022 Here’s and interesting one. When Truss Nail Plates let go (pull out) causing ceiling drop and very real risk of compromised trusses collapsing under load from cement roof tiles. Known issue from early 80s to the mid 90s, Shark Tooth Nail Plate failure (pull).... Structural Engineering directed remediation - lamination of truss bottom cords and triangular plywood lamination at wall top plates (truss ends), plus application of hex screw fixings into Nail Plates to stop plate pull.
