09.01.2022 I can not express enough, the importance of pruning native plants. I guarantee they love it! May people believe that you don't need to do anything with natives, you plant them and forget them. And yes, you can do that but you will most likely have a poor performing plants and feel let down and be disappointed with them. By just giving your native plants a little attention, like pruning, feeding with a good quality slow release native fertiliser and mulching once a year, you w...ill vastly improve the look, vigour and health of your natives. It will create a completely different plant, one that is full, lush and strong, one that you will be proud of. Putting a little effort into caring for your native plants will give your plants a whole new lease on life and go a long way to be part of forming the beautiful native garden that you have always dreamed of.
