20.01.2022 Due to the ongoing restrictions placed on the gathering of large groups of adults in schools, Burnie High School has undertaken a transition video project with ...the professional video production company, Tasman Digital, so that we could still share with you the fabulous opportunities that are available at our school. Our priority for the project was to produce a genuine, unscripted and real look inside our school, and for you to hear from some of our students and teachers about the BHS experience. We are very excited to be able to officially launch the video tonight! If you would prefer to watch the video on YouTube it can be viewed on your smart TV or other device using the following link: https://youtu.be/jVimFlfl9sY. For a true High Definition experience make sure that you select the HD option, found by clicking the settings icon in YouTube. The video and other important transition information is also now available on the Burnie High School web page: https://burniehigh.education.tas.edu.au/

17.01.2022 We don't need to tell you how crazy this year has been. You’ll notice that celebrations and activities usually occurring at this time of year will be done diff...erently. Including remembering our COVID-safe behaviours and following Public Health advice. Celebrations and activities will look different from school to school based on its size and the facilities they have available. But please remember the most important thing is keeping each other safe. Whatever your school has planned, please support them as they try to hold these special celebrations safely. #LearnersFirst #TasGovEducation
