23.01.2022 One of the many things I dearly love and appreciate about living in South Australia is the change in temperature throughout the Seasons (Besides the fact that we make the best wine in the world). By the end of Summer, I get so bored when after day after day becomes just a tank and shorts or a t shirt and a skirt. But then! ... Autumn arrives and layering steps in. Layering, red wine and a fire pit. That’s my happy place. I tend to drink white wine and Rose in summer but I’m a red wine all the way kind of girl in winter. But I still sneak in my bubbles between both along the way. Are you similar? Nat xo

10.01.2022 I love walking on our beach in summer. But I equally love watching the waves crashing all the way up to the rocks in winter (only weeks away). We bought this house just over two years. ... It’s my absolute dream home and Hunky loves it because I do It’s quirky. Worst house on the best street (you know that old chest nut). A rabbit warren. 3 doors entering every room. Pink terrazzo tiled bathroom. No heating or cooling (we have since had that installed brrrrr ). The best we could afford in the area and we are darn lucky to be here. You get the idea.... My whole life I dreamt of living on what is known in Adelaide as the golden mile. Hunky says I made that term up. To this day he still doesn’t believe it’s a thing. Have you ever been to Adelaide? Do you live here? Have you heard of it called that? I know I’m older (hunky is only 42 while I’m 48) but I was sure it was a description still used of the most beautiful beach in Australia. Pretty sure atleast Nat xo

09.01.2022 I never in my life realised how differently you have to go about picking up and holding a sausage dog. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve patted many. But there truly is a science behind picking them up and holding them in a way that they feel safe. ... I was given a lesson today which meant Hugo kind of felt confident in my arms for five minutes. Have you ever held one? Sitting and getting lots of kisses was easy. Holding up high... not so much. *check out my Instagram for more of that. Nat xo
