20.01.2022 How amazing is this! She even gives you safety advice at towards the end. Unless you know for sure what you are picking and eating don't because it can make you very sick. She's a bit of an expert and has been foraging for a couple of years now. What an awesome thing to be taught as a young person. I am envious of her knowlege of wild herbs.

20.01.2022 You keep putting one foot in front of the other, and then one day you look back and you've climbed a mountain. Tom Hiddleston

17.01.2022 PURSLANE: WILD & POTENT FREE FOOD Psst, if this is your cup of tea, try out my new online course Wild Food Health Boosters & Herbal Remedies at http://www.Wil...dFoodHealthBoosters.com. This humble, prolific weed of disturbed soil (it's probably growing in your garden and lawn right now) is a nutritious powerhouse; high in iron, omega-3 fatty acids, and more. Its leaf & stem are succulent, mild, crispy (when raw), mucilaginous, slightly tangy; cooking increases the sour flavor. Scientifically named Portulaca oleracea, this tender annual is delicious in salads, and makes a tasty marinated vegetable. It's called verdolagas in Mexico where it is featured in savory sauces and dishes. LOOK FOR it in full sun and rich, but well drained soil. Hardiness Zones (USDA): 511 CULINARY USES Leaf, stem, & flower: raw in salad, goddess dressing; cooked in soup, sauté. Flower: raw in butter, as general garnish. Seed: raw or cooked. ~ TO HELP with id, harvest and use, here is the Purslane Plant Map illustration from Foraging & Feasting: A Field Guide and Wild Food Cookbook by Dina Falconi (me), illustrated by Wendy Hollender. 13.01.2022 We often get asked: what does an Osteopath actually do? So we made this little video to show you what a standard treatment looks like! Feel free to share with family and friends!

12.01.2022 Remember, happiness doesn't depend upon who you are or what you have; it depends solely upon what you think. So start each day by thinking of all the things yo...u have to be thankful for. Your future will depend very largely on the thoughts you think today. So think thoughts of hope and confidence and love and success. Dale Carnegie Karl Harald Alfred Broge

10.01.2022 This is an interesting read for those with thyroid issues.

07.01.2022 I grew all the calendula flowers this year in the garden and dried them. I have had a good quality olive oil infusing with the flower heads in preparation for salve making. We got quite a batch out of this lot. It is our go to cream for anything red and inflamed. More Christmas pressents done today. #calendulakingofherbs #herbaldelights #herbalist #handmadegiftsforchristmas #gardengifts

03.01.2022 How gorgeous. We are so far removed from nature. Its nice to see some are filling their spaces with green.

02.01.2022 Out watering the new herbs I planted on the weekend and was able to sample the blueberries. I am delighted that I can grow these in Townsville. I have lost quite a few herbs in the last week due to the heat. Its been a bit intenst quickly for some of them like my big bush of cat nip that is now just withered sticks.
