23.01.2022 The client wanted to extend their outdoor living space with a deck. 7.8 meters by 2.8 meters. Spent a little bit of time setting things out so we could hide the down pipe behind the fascia board. Clients were very happy with the end result.

15.01.2022 Love a challenge! A client showed me a photo of a sauna and asked if I could make something similar. Giving me overall dimensions of the space and the photo as a guide he left it up to me to build. The framing, insulation and batons was the easy part. A quick setout for the V groove paneling and we started to move forward. Once the paneling was completed we designed and built the seating. This was a little challenging as we had to fit it within the space and keep it to a s...ize that would work with the timber while making it symmetrical. The top seat to give the illusion of floating and to be able to hold the weight of people was yet another added challenge that we overcame. The end result is a beautiful western red cedar sauna with lovely detailed seats which the client was extremely happy with. See more

13.01.2022 With the help from my son who has joined me at Natural Elements Carpentey, we started a full strip out of a granny flat in Kenthurst. The granny flat is going to be converted into the main bedroom suite for the house. This ongoing project will include work on the main house as well as other buildings on the property.

01.01.2022 A client had a retaining wall that was a mixture of timber and steel posts. This was done by another builder and he didn't like it. I was asked to reclad the wall. In the extreme heat before Christmas I completed the task. Working steadily until it was finished. The wall, 40 meters long took three days to complete The client was very pleased with the end result.
