22.01.2022 Punch buggy, without much of the punch.

16.01.2022 These grapes are ready for the storms.

16.01.2022 Can anyone think of a purpose for sowing barley between grapevines? It can't be grazed. Mulch? Fodder harvesting? I'm curious.

14.01.2022 The only thing growing around Robinvale faster than almond plantations are solar farms. They are everywhere and they are pretty massive. What the area needs an equivalent big battery to store the electricity and feed it consistently to the grid. The Mallee also needs a decent transmission line back to Melbourne!

10.01.2022 As the shearers left it. Now a national park.

09.01.2022 Have a guess what I'm up to today?

09.01.2022 Taking the long way home from work... (The short way is 750 metres!) 25km and counting...

07.01.2022 Asparagus. Looks like too much hard work for me!

05.01.2022 The lakes are having a dry year this year, but the recent rains have brought life.

04.01.2022 Railway station. Shame they can't get passenger services along here.

02.01.2022 Murray River, Tol Told.

01.01.2022 Oh so near... A beautiful big stretch of water, but the locals say I'm not allowed to put my kayak on it. Apparently that constitutes an illegal border crossing! There is no coronavirus up here in the Mallee, six hours drive from Melbourne. I'll just have to contend with riding my bike along it...

01.01.2022 If I were building a solar farm, I'd raise the solar panels high enough to drive a tractor under them, and continue agriculture/horticulture production under them. As it is, it's just another monoculture dependent on chemicals for vegetation management. Robinvale, Victoria.
