21.01.2022 The science may be conflicting but many people know they feel better on a gluten free diet. Our present day methods of growing grain products are far removed from traditional methods. So it's not really surprising that non celiac gluten sensitivity is a thing. If you are not sure about gluten in your diet, why not conduct your own science project and just give it away for 6 weeks and see how you feel? I am just going into week 2 GF and have noticed that I have lost fluid around my fingers. So something is changing.
19.01.2022 Ladies, more good info from our friends at Fem 21.
18.01.2022 So honey isn't the only food that can be a bit dodgy. I knew that there could be doubt with some of the imported extra virgin olive oils, but shredded cheese surprised me. I know it is convenient to buy shredded cheese. I have brought it in the past. But if I am buying grated cheese, I just want cheese. It really is easy to get the grater out and grate up your own. And much cheaper.
17.01.2022 Well worth watching. NZ your image as clean and green is a bit of a joke while this stuff is getting into the waterways and killing off everything, including native species. And no decent long term studies are being done. Why not? So the question is, who is making money out of 1080 application?
16.01.2022 Beautiful Australian Skincare and no bunnies harmed with testing.
16.01.2022 Super interesting. I have tried to avoid artificial fragrances as much as possible over the last 20 years. Now I think because I have had such low exposure I am quite sensitive. Walking down the cleaning aisle of the supermarket is always a sensory overload. It is so easy to make a few positive changes to reduce artificial fragrance in your world. Switch to a fragrance free washing powder and get rid of any air fresheners in your house. Totally unnecessary, open a window and let the fresh air in.
15.01.2022 Well who knew? Obviously it is better not to buy these at all. I presume they wash the leaves in something a bit dodgy. But I don't know what and as it is winter here and fresh salad greens are a bit hard to come by, I am not asking. I just give them a soak in apple cider vinegar, dry off and refrigerate in a snap lock bag. And yes that is plastic. I haven't got to working out how to store greens in non plastic either. Maybe a glass container with a lid?
10.01.2022 This is going to be interesting. Monsanto finally held to account for the poisons they produce.
06.01.2022 It is so easy to love your liver. By adding in a few more serves each week of liver loving food, your body can naturally "detox" harmful chemicals found in the average diet. Here in NZ it is citrus time and there are trees everywhere groaning with fruit. So easy to find some lemons or grapefruit and juice one everyday. And it's just coming into Avocado season as well. Smashed avo on toast. Might make it difficult to save for your first house, but your liver will love you! Some leafy greens, a bit more cauli and broccoli, spice it up with garlic and turmeric and a serve of something with blueberries and it's happy days for your liver.
03.01.2022 Very good advice. Do what you can, when you can and enjoy the benefits.
01.01.2022 Wisest thing I have read all day.
