24.01.2022 Could this be a reality in hundreds of years to come? A fun way to spend an hour either way :)

23.01.2022 In far western Mongolia near the border with China and Kazakhstan, sheep and goat herders can be seen spotted around the valleys with their humble gers.

22.01.2022 My kinda Zen. I had such a great time photographing this kayaker disappear into the glass like Eagle Point Bay early one morning, my intuition urging me to do so. With some great help from Flaming Pears software and some branches that I saw whilst walking another time, I was able to bring this image to life.

22.01.2022 I just completed both of the online Photoshop courses available on https://www.thebohemiancreative.com.au/ and I highly recommend you check it out too. So much value, so methodically structured and it's so easy to follow along as all of the sample images used are available for you to download and follow along. You'll learn lots I'm sure of it :)

21.01.2022 Hope everyone has an ace weekend ahead. Another pic from a recent trip to Mongolia with ignacio Palacios :)

21.01.2022 Can you help me to create a title for this image? "A beautiful past full of life manifests itself on the bleak and dark present." Recently Ive been feeling lost in my photography in regards to what direction I want to go... Does anyone else also feel like this at times?... I just bought Joel Robinsons Create Your Self book so Im hoping that this can provide some clarity and reaffirm my belief to follow your own instinct and create what personally fulfills you above anything else.

21.01.2022 From a fun little snowshoeing adventure at Falls Creeks during this years winter that involved getting a snow mobile ride and two free ski lifts back to the village where we started because we lost all sense of time. Composited image.

20.01.2022 Dedicated to my sister and her fiancé Matteo, sending you both my love...

20.01.2022 From far west Mongolia.

19.01.2022 A painterly dawn. An image that is perhaps lost when viewed so small and definitely one that I think needs to be viewed big to appreciate all of the little details throughout. Captured from Mount Buffalo at dawn looking down into the valley.

18.01.2022 Lake Villarrica in southern Chile with the Villarrica volcano in the background

18.01.2022 From a foggy morning in Bright in Victoria a few weekend's back. See if you can spot the magpies in this image... Thank you to good friends Silvio and Mieke for a great weekend of shooting (and laughs) in and around the Vic alps :)

17.01.2022 Enchanted frozen forest

17.01.2022 If you're interested, you can hear a little about my photography journey and approach on episode 10 of the Light Minded podcast where I was privileged to be interviewed by iconic Australian Fine Art Landscape Photographer Christian Fletcher, and Carwyn the producer of this very insightful podcast. Listen here on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com//christian-fletch/id1463912467

16.01.2022 Winter is coming...

16.01.2022 A new pic that I've titled "Set free from the darkness". Hope you have an ace weekend ahead :)

15.01.2022 Ive shared this some years ago but its worth sharing again. Please watch the trailer of The Quest for Inspiration by incredible French landscape photographer Alexandre Deschaumes. https://vimeo.com/ondemand/thequestforinspiration/130008748 The full feature documentary is available for purchase on demand.

15.01.2022 A high key take on the sand dunes surrounding Huacachina in Peru. Def one of the most unique places that Ive ever personally visited - a place that more closely resembles something that youve dreamt about. Just google Huacachina and youll quickly see what I mean. I spent 5 glorious days in this oasis - literally an oasis.

14.01.2022 Another fascinating and insightful discussion on creativity in landscape photography with Alister Benn - this time with one of my photography heros Bruce Percy: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=p8LkUU-wsmk

13.01.2022 "Unattainable love"

13.01.2022 Gobi desert in southern Mongolia near the border with China

13.01.2022 A run over bird’s dying wish

11.01.2022 This pilot has the right attitude! Sharing the message of love when it’s needed the most right now...

11.01.2022 Seeking escape... Thanks to Alex from Alex Wise Photography for pressing the shutter to capture this image for me, I knew that I couldn't expect anyone else to go into the cold water in a suit! Alex is a great down-to-earth photographer who produces amazing work.

10.01.2022 A new picture from a foggy Sunday morning last month. I love how fog can create a sense of intrigue and atmosphere. Dedicated to my grandmother who suddenly left this world earlier in the week.

10.01.2022 This image was born from challenging myself to create some new images from the confines of indoors whilst in iso. Made using miniature trees and a miniature moon with a long focal length lens and with the lights off in my bedroom. Then the bird just magically flew into the scene to complete it! ;-)

10.01.2022 From the Edge of the World lookout at Arthur River in north east Tasmania

09.01.2022 The lone wanderer A composite image made up of 4 images, one each for the background, tree, snow and another for the wolf (okay its really only a husky but lets pretend). Sadly the husky pictured (Gypsy) passed away late last year. Finally paying tribute to her with this image.

09.01.2022 Stirling Ranges in southern Western Australia

07.01.2022 A more formulaic Landscape Photography image from me. This was from the foggy morning we experienced in and around the Mornington Peninsula at the beginning of this week. Hope you enjoy and the same goes for the rest of your weekend :)

07.01.2022 Some new ICM images :)

07.01.2022 What message does this image communicate to you if any? I've titled it "Hope for Rejuvenation"

06.01.2022 The Gobi Desert in far southern Mongolia, one of the tallest sand dune networks in the world. Solitude is synonymous with being a landscape photographer. This image tries to communicate this feeling.

05.01.2022 A distraught human's heartbreak and loss for our disappearing forests to make way for animal agriculture. Hope you enjoy :)

04.01.2022 Im wanting to create more images that originate from the inner-self and so as part of this effort I wanted to create an image that tried to represent how I often feel in my professional life. The aim of each branch in this image is to symbolize the requests of each person, each one trying to reach further to gain my attention and in the process encroaching ever so more on the diminishing space that I need. I'm often left feeling overwhelmed and consumed... The clenched fists of the person aim to evoke feelings of frustration that I cant get the space I need.

04.01.2022 Without trying to remove the spotlight from the current worldwide pandemic and all of the unimaginable suffering that so many people have endured, the 2020 event that has taken the biggest toll on me personally were the bushfires that ravaged thru Eastern Australia... I would loose sleep thinking about the huge amount of animals that were, in that moment, suffering pain, thirst and starvation and where I felt so helpless to help them. Whilst I did a number of things to help me cope and bring me some closure, I wanted to create an image to pay tribute to this event. Ive had many ideas for new images but only now am I feeing like Im in a place to start bringing them to life. Hope you enjoy.

04.01.2022 A big thank you to Jose Aguiar from Zoom Photography Studio for his craftsmanship in printing my 2019 APPA submissions. By far the best prints that Ive made before thanks to his many years of experience in printing. Jose went above and beyond to ensure that I made the best prints possible. If you value taking all the time necessary and making as many prints necessary, then please consider Jose to help you. Ill certainly be going back.

03.01.2022 Lost in the Clouds

03.01.2022 What emotion(s) does this image evoke for you? An older image from Colombia captured in 2015. Hope you enjoy.

02.01.2022 Contemplation. An idea that I've had for a while but I've never got around to bringing it to life.

01.01.2022 Definitely the most enjoyable discussion on expressive landscape photography that Ive listened to. I thoroughly recommend making time to listen and absorb every word when you can. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=t5Eg5F-4bvE
