25.01.2022 Week 2 of business being closed.... Being in an industry where Im in close contact with my clients I truely understand the need to be closed for the time being, but I can tell you... I miss you all. I miss you trusting me with your bodies, helping to smooth out and relax your muscles. I miss the conversations, I miss the laughs, I miss listening to all you have to tell me. We may not be able to see each other for a few more months, unfortunately, however I thought I can o...ffer a short head, neck and shoulder video that you can watch and learn so you can perform on your partner and of course your partner can perform on you - Stay tuned. Just an update on the beautiful new studio that myself and the lovely Narelle Piffero are creating for you all. The renovations are well underway, painting should be completed in the next day or so, and then floor goes down. Getting very exciting. We have plenty of time now to get it perfect! Take care of yourselves and remember to call your friends to make sure they are ok.

25.01.2022 Open for business We did it!!! We are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel... it’s within inches. ... The talked about vision that Narelle Piffero and I had is coming together. Narelle has talked about what we wanted to create in a post to our new FB page Naturally Connected, please like our page. As a remedial massage therapist, I was able to start back a few weeks ago, now relocated into my own space offering relaxation, remedial, hot stone massage and manual lymphatic drainage. As a fitness instructor the date has been set to get back to exercise classes ... Live!! Big shout out to all my Thursday Ladies who went zoom!!! Took us all out of our comfort zones - well done to you. A big thank you to Fiona & Daniel Rankin for allowing me to use your treatment room at beautiful 54 Thompson Street and helping me to establish myself as a massage therapist. Two wonderful people Well have more information shortly on classes and schedule on our new FB page. Some great classes offered by Narelle Piffero coming up!!

25.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone!!! Term 3 has begun and welcome back to my ladies participating in the bands and body weight strength classes, great to see you all and a very big welcome to the new faces. Tuesdays strength and stretch class is proving very popular, we don’t get enough time in our day to stretch and this component of exercise is so important. ... It’s been a very busy start in my massage world.... Thank you to all my clients for being very patient in waiting for their up coming massage. I’m looking forward to helping you relieve your aches & pains and melt your tension away. Massage treatment I offer is Remedial, Relaxation, Hot Stone and Manuel Lymphatic Drainage. I offer essential oils in my treatments, I’v always used these little bottles of beauty as there are so many benefits attached. As a special offer to you all I’m holding an introduction to essential oils workshop so you can learn and understand the benefits too. Let me know if you’re interested for Sunday 2 August at 11am at the studio. Have a great weekend

23.01.2022 One of the benefits of massage is to release tension in the body. When tension is released the body is able to properly relax. Benefits of relaxation are endless....... * Improve sleep... * Improved alertness - school, uni, work and just generally being able to think more clearly * Reduced stress - a big one!!! How many illnesses, conditions and accidents are caused by stress. * Better relationships, with family, partners, friends and pets Majority of the pain that our body experiences, such as neck tension and back pain is due to the build up of stresses from everyday life. With a combination of relaxation massage techniques and DoTerra pure essential oils, this is a positive recipe for melting away tension. Massage treatments are available Wednesdays & Thursdays (some Mondays) I have two appointments left available next Wednesday. Have a great weekend :-)

Whatever it is, enjoy this year, take everyday and live it to its fullest. ... One last thing, its been a pretty trying past couple of months with all the fires that we, our country, has been dealt with. I cant tell you though, how proud I am to be Australian right now. To see how we, as Aussies, band together, to help each other in this time of need. Our firefighters, who have been battling these blazes, Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, and Im sure from everyone else in this country too, we appreciate all that you are doing to keep us safe. Thank you to our volunteers, there are so many, doing so many different and wonderful jobs, its just mind blowing. 19.01.2022 Massage in the winter can make you feel great. Massage in the winter can stimulate muscles, increase blood flow which can help with aches & pains caused by the cold, think arthritis. In the winter our skin can feel particularly dry, the oils used in massage can help soften your skin and scent of the Doterra oils can uplift and energies.....

11.01.2022 June!!! and the middle of winter sport session. What are you playing or participating in...... Rugby League, Rugby Union, Netball, AFL, Basketball, Soccer or are you running or walking lots of kilometres each week, or have you just completed an Ironman...... Muscles can get tired, stressed and overused from continuous training, sport or physical activity and sometimes dont preform like they should.... Having a regular massage can assist with relieving muscle tension, improve circulation and range of movement. And if the mind is willing to let go whist on the treatment table, your bodies ability to relax will increase, you will in turn feel rejuvenated and ready to get out and tackle the next training session, activity or game. If I can be of assistance please message or call to book and appointment. Have a great day :-)

11.01.2022 Have a great weekend. Be kind to yourself and your body.

11.01.2022 First Friday of business being closed... Upside.... running in the light, , happy accountant , gardening , pooch time Whats your upside

09.01.2022 Life is busy! As is our day to day tasks whether its our job, activities we do or hobbies we have, these can all put pressure on our muscular skeletal system if we dont take care. Think of the type of work you do. Desk job? Tradesperson? Drive a vehicle all day? Childcare worker? To name a few. Do you hunch over your keyboard, slouch in your car whilst driving, bend forward at the hips and use your back to pick up tools or a child from the ground?... All of these actions could be causing your muscles to shorten, become tight and a imbalanced muscular system which in turn can cause injuries and issues. Be mindful of posture, stretch often during the day (only take 5-10 mins) and dont ignore pain. Massage is a great way to relieve tension in muscles, improve circulation, reduce stress and assist with pain management. If you would like to book and appointment or require any further information, dont hesitate to contact me. Have a great weekend and keep warm :-)

09.01.2022 Please be aware that as of Monday you will need to have the Services NSW app downloaded onto your phone in order to check in via the QR code when attending treatment or class at Natural Balance Massage & Fitness.

08.01.2022 This week I returned from the land of the long white cloud, for those who are unsure of where that is, its just across the Tasman ...., its New Zealand. Last Saturday I participated in the Queenstown Running Festival, in the half marathon and I had to share with you just how beautiful the scenery on this run was. Now there wasnt just runners, there was plenty of walkers also. Even though majority of us prepared for these events, Id be lying if I told you I wasnt stiff ...and sore after - particularly day 2 & 3!!! So I want to share what I did to help me recover; After the run, kept moving, refueled, stretched, hot shower and stretched some more. Day 2: a relaxation massage to continue to circulate blood to the muscle (and it felt sooo good!) Day 3: walked, stretch, and yoga poses. By day 4 I felt great. Has anyone else got some tip on how theyve recovered after an event thats left them muscle sore...... Would love to hear

08.01.2022 Happy Easter to you all. The celebration maybe be different this year, however the meaning is still the same. Have a beautiful day

07.01.2022 Received my beautiful print this week. Thank you to Kim Knox-Thurn @thestyleproject for your help in choosing the right piece of art for my wall and putting my space together.

06.01.2022 Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and all the best for a fantastic New Year. Thank you to my beautiful clients for your ongoing support in 2019 and I look forward to keeping you strong, balanced and relaxed in 2020.

06.01.2022 Happy Friday!!! I hope that the week has been very good to you all. I would like to start by thanking all of my wonderful clients for trusting me as your massage therapist, to assist with your relaxation, stress relief, management of pain/discomfort, and more. It is an honour. Trusting somebody with your body is massive and I thank you. I posted back in January that I would be donating a portion of my massage income for January/February and Im very excited to say that I hav...e today donated $230 to The Salvation Army Disaster Relief - Bushfire Crisis. Have a wonderful weekend. For appointments and/or information massage, please dont hesitate to message or phone me.

06.01.2022 Thank you for your ongoing support over the years. Everyone of my clients is unique and special, thats why I do what I do .... and love it. Following is a letter that I have sent out to clients booked in for massage in the next two weeks which relates to COVID-19. The thought may be Were in Cootamundra, were pretty isolated in the bush, so we should be ok,... Maybe.... But, I personally have clients with compromised immune systems and older clients who I dont want to put at risk. I will be monitoring the situation and keep you informed of my movements. Take care and remember to follow health department instructions, be diligent with hygiene and mostly, be kind to each other. To my dear valued client, I am writing to address the COVID-19 pandemic directly with you. For the past few weeks, I have been following the updates from the Department of Health website and the World Health recommendations daily. I have also been applying very stringent infection control and hygiene protocols. Safety is my number one concern for all of my clients, some of whom are at-risk populations. I feel a strong sense of social responsibility to help in any way to slow the spread of the virus and to protect the at-risk populations in our community. Since my profession involves being in close proximity and sharing the air for an extended time in a small room, a virus like this can be spread very quickly despite the best infection control and hygiene precautions. Due to the nature of COVID19, people could be asymptomatic for at least several days but still be contagious. Some people have contracted the virus and had virtually no symptoms at all. The Australian Government has now mandated social distancing measures to try to control the spread of COVID19. Pre-emptive social distancing and good hygiene are the two most powerful tools we have to manage the rate of virus transmission and slow down the enormous load on our medical facilities all at once. With that in mind, I am taking this situation seriously and have decided to take action now to temporarily suspend my practice to slow the curve of COVID19 spread and lessen the sudden overload on our medical facilities locally. If you have a session booked in the next two weeks, it is currently cancelled for the time being. I do not make this decision lightly as this practice is my primary source of income. At this stage, I dont know how long this suspension will be in effect but I will keep you informed. I would prefer to be over cautious and err on the side of safety, rather than potentially regret not taking actions sooner. The safety and health of my clients, family members and community is paramount. Thank you for your support and understanding. Yours sincerely, Jacky Sheahan Natural Balance Massage

06.01.2022 Well here we are week 5 of isolation, self distancing, being mindful of self hygiene and hygiene in general. My question to you is .... how are you going, what have you been up to. Im not going go to lie, Iv had mixed emotions, some days sad, frustrated, other days (which are now more frequent) happy and grateful. Grateful that my family, my friends, and myself are healthy. ... Keeping busy with a new project or hobby and being active plays a key role in how we feel, I would highly recommend. Im going to share some photos of our, Narelle Piffero and myself, our new studio. Lots of work happening with massive thanks to Scotty Piffero for all the renovation work so far. Very exciting and we cant wait to open and invite you all into our beautiful building.
