21.01.2022 Get Your Body Moving & Increase Your Strength This Winter We know that the cold season can be a really tough time to find the motivation to exercise. But some of our simple Pilates matwork exercises could be exactly what youre looking for! NEW TERM OF PILATES... We will be starting a new 10 week term of Pilates matwork classes from Monday 30th July with Corinne. Pilates is great for strength, stability, mobility, body awareness and improving posture. Class times are Mon 6.30pm, Tues 10am, Tues 7pm, Sat 8.30am. (If you are interested but these times dont suit you please let us know as we may be adding extra classes) Classes run for 1 hour and are $20 per class. Pay for the term upfront and get one class free! Class numbers are kept small so we can focus on correct technique. Please share this post with anyone who you think might be interested. 20.01.2022 TBT- When Dave was in The Sunday Telegraph back in 2008. We had just started Natural Balance and he was a sprightly 28 year old!

20.01.2022 We understand that there is a huge overload of information going on at the present time in regards to the current situation the world is facing. This is unfortunately another one of those posts. However being in the health industry we do feel the need to update you on where Natural Balance is at at this crazy time. We are still open!... At the moment our opening and closing times have not changed, so we are still able to accomodate those that need early morning or late evening appointments. We are implementing up to a half hour gap between clients so we can wipe down surfaces and prepare the rooms properly for the next client. This will also help in the way of social distancing by not having too many people waiting in a small area. We have always been thoroughly hygienic when it comes to fresh towels, so the endless pile of washing continues for us! The same goes with hand washing. Our therapists are constantly washing their hands anyway due to the oil and cream that they use. So obviously this will continue. In regards to Pilates classes we have asked that anyone attending please bring their own towel or mat. We are wiping down all equipment after each use. However if you would prefer you are welcome to bring your own equipment or we do have circles, bands and balls available for purchase. Our classes remain small with a limited amount of people able to attend at one time. We are also able to provide individual sessions if you do not feel comfortable doing group activities. These one-on-one sessions can be tailored to suit you and what you want to work on. We have completed the Department of Health Covid-19 Infection Control Training. The health and wellness of our clients still remains our number one priority and helping people feel better is always our main focus. However as we see every year as we head in to the cooler months, with colds and flu also tends to come body aches and pains and some people do think that a massage will help to make them feel better. A massage at this time will actually make you feel worse as it pushes the virus around your system. We ask that you are mindful of your health status when you book appointments as we try to protect our therapists and our clients from the spread of germs. Lastly, this is a very tough time for small business and we are trying to remain optimistic amongst all the uncertainty. We thank our family, friends and clients who have checked in to see how we are doing. We really appreciate it! While our thoughts are with those whose health has been impacted, we do ask that if you are able to, please continue to support your local small businesses. 04.01.2022 Thats a wrap for 2018! What a year weve had! Almost 3000 massages, lots of corporate jobs, a whole bunch of Pilates classes and we sponsored and worked with some great athletes.
