25.01.2022 Images of the Princess Lillies that we have been able to keep in bloom throughout the Summer. These stunning plants are bulbs, so may go dormant over the winter months, but, if looked after correctly, should come back into bloom for spring! On a separate note, we were able to keep a cyclamen in flower throughout the summer months when it was meant to be dormant, so if you find the perfect spot for your plant and it is doing well, keep up the fertilizer and power feed but do not move it! moving it will, in most cases, upset the plant.

23.01.2022 The Princess lillies are in full bud! (Except for one, waiting for the weather to warm up a bit more) These guys are a bulb so overwatering can kill them, as the bulbs will rot. Also pick off the seed heads regularly as this will encourage the plant to continue flowering. ... Please comment with any and all of your flowering plants at home

Alstroemeria psittacina, with the common names Peruvian lily, parrot flower, parrot lily, lily of the Incas, princess lily and New Zealand Christmas bell. These gorgeous plants are available at bunnings, not native but great garden plants.... The warmer it gets, the more flowers you get. The stock that is sold at the shops is generally grown in a glass house so flower sooner than they would if grown in normal conditions.
