11.01.2022 When couples are trying to conceive, we recommend the following five tips to support you on your fertility journey: 1) Get preconception blood screening. 2) Check the sperm! Sperm quality has significantly decreased over the last 10 years.... 3) Make sure you know when/or if you are ovulating and make sure timing is right. Tracking your basal body temperature, or getting a day 21 progesterone test can confirm ovulation. Don’t rely on an app! 4) Don’t wait to seek help. See a TCM practitioner or naturopath who focuses on women’s health if you feel your hormones are imbalanced. It can reduce your stress knowing you are on the right track. It can also mean a quick referral to a fertility specialist if there is a red flag. 5) Support each other to eat well, reduce alcohol and exercise. In online consults with Jaya, Bianca and Surya, we will be able to talk all about your bbt chart, pathology and your physical, mental and emotional wellbing. We can also use these consults to prescribe your herbs and supplements, which we will post out to you. We can also provide guidance for the use of acupressure and moxa for continued selfcare.
