24.01.2022 Probiotic Cashew Cheese So good for gut health!!! Tastes delicious xx 2 cups of raw cashews... 1/2 - 1 cup of filtered water- must be filtered as to not kill culture. Soak cashews overnight to soften and to remove some of the phytic acid, an anti nutrient that can work against absorption of other nutrients. Process cashews with filtered water until soft and cheese like, place in keeping container, I use a glass jar. Add 3 probiotic capsules - just the powder and mix, sit for 24 hours in dark area. Add any flavours you like, garlic, herbs, nutritional yeast or turmeric- anything. Salt to taste. Put in fridge and use within 7 days. Yummy
