22.01.2022 Car Park. Please be mindful of the families using the centre and only park in the centre car park on days that your child attends. This is particularly important during peak drop off and collection times between 8:30am - 9:30am and 2:30pm - 4:00pm. We understand finding parking for "Big School" drop off and pick up can be difficult especially under the current changed collection procedures at Ulladulla Public School however we also have limited parking spaces that are provided to assist with safe drop off and collection of Naturally Curious children.

19.01.2022 Supporting childrens brain development

18.01.2022 On Monday we completed the magic milk experiment. Sitting around the table, we talked about what we think might happen when we added food colouring and dishwashing liquid to the milk sitting in the tray, with some children suggesting an explosion or a rainbow might occur. Taking turns, the children dipped their cotton tip into the dishwashing liquid before dipping it into the milk, watching as the colours quickly dispersed away from the cotton tip, creating waves of colour. The children identified the colours they could see, and the new colours that were being made by the movement of the milk. In the end, we saw a beautifully bright array of colours.

11.01.2022 Dear Families, We have started to receive information from the local primary schools regarding expressions of interest for Kindergarten 2021. I have attached a copy of each of the schools information. Once the schools advise us of how they plan to present School Readiness Information Evenings we will let you know. Please start to think about whether you will be sending your child to Big School next year and let Kate or Brenda know which school they will be attending. If you a...re unsure please talk to your childs educators and they can provide you with some guidance in relation to your childs school readiness. Remember that you also do not need to make a final decision now. You can enrol your child for 2021 at Big School and at Naturally Curious and make your decision closer to the time as we understand children can grow so much in 6 months. Thanks Stacey

The words speak directly to the children listening to the story to tell them "YOU are wonderful!" Each book includes images drawn by children just like the ones who are listening to the story - to further promote the message that each child is valuable, capable and has something unique to offer.

02.01.2022 Today we held Graduation for the Bush Room Class of 2020 to celebrate the children's journey at Naturally Curious. It has been an interesting year with lots of twists and turns and Naturally Curious has remained a safe, stable and fun place for our children to belong. Kate and Brenda alongside the rest of our wonderful educators have done another fantastic job in helping the children develop skills to be life long learners. Our school readiness program is not solely about lit...eracy and numeracy skills, from the day your child starts at Naturally Curious we foster self help skills, resilience, social and emotional wellbeing. This year we have many families who have had several children pass through our doors and next year ends an era as their youngest heads off to primary school. We will miss all our graduating children. Thank you all for being part of the Naturally Curious family and we look forward to seeing and hearing about your new adventures next year! Special thanks goes to Zoe for baking and decorating the delicious cupcakes, Nikita from Lai.bel for adding the finishing touches to the children's library bags and Ulladulla Printing & Signage for printing our graduation books at such short notice. Please upload your photos from the night to our Facebook page or email to [email protected] See more
