24.01.2022 Nice animation on locomotion

23.01.2022 Some great training here. Remember this for our domestic animals we keep as well. Training can be used to make life a lot easier for everyone.

21.01.2022 Very cool early discoveries that may explain further the mechanism underlying craniosacral therapy. While skeptics poo poo and label it as woo woo, what we feel as practitioners (and some clients feel) may join the dots to the benefits we see from treatments but be explained in science terms that some need to hear. https://www.sciencealert.com/neuroscientists-think-they-ve-

20.01.2022 Looking forward to running a TTouch workshop over the next 2 sundays in the Mornington area. A couple of places still available (message me if interested or want more details).

18.01.2022 I'm about to commence puppy classes again from Barking Good Animal Naturopath & Pet Treats in Ivanhoe (I run adolescent/unruley adult classes there as well). You can contact them to book in on 9499 7387 or 0459 924 663 during business hours. Join in the fun with your puppy.

14.01.2022 Update on working with the fearful and aggressive cat. After third session he has immediately approached, head bumped and initiated small amounts of physical contact and allowing me to do a lot more with him. What has been noticeable is the attacks to people have reduced (although not disappeared, we have some other things to work on), his sleeping is less disturbed and less fights with the other cat in the house. What is interesting is that it looks like the other cat has be...en responsible for much of the fights and actually has more physical issues than the original 'problem' cat that they thought was causing all the fights. This was really obvious when you looked at its coat and the length and texture changes in certain parts. After including him in a small part of one of the TTouch sessions we have already seen some changes in the coat, but there is more to do. See more

10.01.2022 First TTouch Intro workshop of the year is happening in Feb. It's hands on with lots for people to learn. Grab all the details here, but don't take too long - limited places available. http://chewsaustralia.com.au//tellington-ttouch-workshop-2/

09.01.2022 One of the best mental stimulation you can provide for dogs is getting them to use their nose. If you want to get a taster for your puppy check out this class (great to learn for extra fun over the holiday period).

09.01.2022 Only a couple of weeks now until this TTouch workshop for dogs starts. A great opportunity to learn from the inspiring and skilled Robyn Hood. Sign up details through here.

08.01.2022 We are learning more and more that what is thought of as necessary or even useful is not so straight forward. Safe movement and sensory input is what the body needs along with a bit of time. I'm sure that occasionally there may be a significant need for various procedures but more care should be taken to understand the bodies needs first.

03.01.2022 The autonomic nervous system (parasympathetic/sympathetic) is involved with so many behavioural and health conditions and is an important aspect we notice when working with Craniosacral Therapy or TTouch (and many other therapies). I love seeing these new discoveries and ideas on how the body works. For sometime there has been a different theory on the heart not actually being a pump to move the blood around the body. This article looks at heart disease and the autonomic nervous system being involved.

02.01.2022 Robyn Hood is back in Australia for Tellington Touch workshops (end Oct - Nov). All details can be found here https://www.ttouchaustralia.com.au/workshops
