21.01.2022 Our ginger products have been popular for some time to improve your well-being. Ideal for cooking and some people even enjoy it pure. As we can't grow ginger in sunny Ballarat we have to buy it in. The current price for ginger is almost 8 times higher than we normally would pay. We can't pass these prices increases on to our customers. We therefore won't be able to cook more ginger than we currently have in storage.... 14 Ginger Paste and around 40 Ginger Syrup. 18.01.2022 Like every Sunday morning we enjoy free tastings of preserves from Naturally Berry with oven baked rolls, cooked Goldfields Free Range eggs and Jennings Honey. We emptied another tester of the so popular Strawberry Rhubarb jam. We then tasted our handcrafted Kumquat marmalade and Orange Scotch Whisky marmalade. 11.01.2022 Operating an online shop is challenging as the shipping of heavy items (preserves) is rather expensive. We understand that almost $15 for shipping via Australia Post is quite hefty. Early this year Australia Post even raised their prices again for all services, including parcels. That makes people wonder....... As Naturally Berry is based in a regional area we are not eligible for cheaper rates like businesses in the city. We offer shipping at cost price. The only positive is that it is possible to get up to 6 jars delivered for the same shipping costs as for 2 jars. We hope that this helps if you are unable to visit our stall at a farmers market in Ballan, Ballarat or Creswick. You can lookup the market dates on our website. It’s not lightly taken by us not to attend a market as it is/was our biggest outlet before this all happend. We try to be at Creswick next weekend.
