13.01.2022 Busy bees trying to bring in nectar to turn to honey. This hive has a white plastic queen excluder but is now quite yellow. We think it’s due to all the pollen that is being brought in staining it

12.01.2022 We checked out a few hives today to see how the bees are going so glad all seem to survived winter. Some hives had very little stores after the drought. Today the apiary smells like honey the girls are busy bringing in nectar and pollen hopefully in another month or so they will be in full swing again. Some hives have half frames of capped honey. So happy to see them doing well.
