25.01.2022 Just a couple of quick edits from Sundays trip out to photograph birds. A very handsome young non breeding male Splendid Fairy Wren, and a very cute female :) The males color up during breeding season, and cant wait to see more of them in full color :) :)

25.01.2022 Very excited about Spring arriving soon! New baby birds to photograph for starters. PLUS we will be offering a few new services, as well as a very exciting addition to our photography portfolio coming soon!

25.01.2022 We had a 70th birthday..family photo shoot booked for tomorrow. Fortunately we allow for flexibility with our bookings, and certainly don't book more than one shoot on any given day. Having a bit of an obsession with the weather meant I saw the forecast for Monday and contacted our client with the option to change to today or we would fully refund their deposit if they couldn't change and it got rained out. They were extremely grateful and took the offer to change to today. We had loads of fun capturing so many amazing photos of this awesome family! Being told afterwards, how comfortable they felt with us and how much fun they had means a lot to us, as that is how it should be And the weather was perfect throughout the shoot!

24.01.2022 Spring is in the air! I have fallen in love with Blue wrens of all sorts and spend quite a bit of my little bit of free time I have, chasing them. I was so lucky to capture these and so many more shots 2 days ago how cute are they!

24.01.2022 The first of a series of bird shots. I am taking a break from landscapes and would love to share these with you all. This is a male Australian Golden Whistler. If you click on the youtube link you can hear the whistle of this beautiful bird. These photos were taken in our local southwest area on a friends property :) We always see photos of the fronts of birds, but sometimes the back of them is just as beautiful Cheers Tracy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1vaBTw9e7U

23.01.2022 It's been a tough couple of weeks with Frank being in hospital. It's great to have him home with me again, although he has to take it easy for a while. This was our first sunset together after he came out of hospital. Will be glad when my hubby soul mate and photography partner in crime is back to normal and we can start doing what we Love the most, adventuring along our amazing coastline, cameras in hand. until then, places close to home will have to do. And the Busselton Jetty is always an awesome foreground for sunset and sunrise photos

23.01.2022 We would like to advise everyone, that we will no longer be taking on new clients for portrait photography at this stage, except for past clients. We are more than happy to recommend a local photographer that we feel will offer you the same service and quality as us. For past clients, please feel free to inbox Tracy or contact me on 0413 653 725 as we would be honoured to work with you again. We will continue with our landscape and wildlife images which are always available... for purchase in a variety of mediums. Our new calendar for 2021 is in development stages at present and we will advise when this is available. Regards Tracy and Frank.

23.01.2022 Have you seen these parrots in your area? This was the first time I have ever seen them, while I was visiting one of my sister's here in Busselton. Elegant Parrots. Very pretty and of course the males are the more colorful ones as always.

22.01.2022 Kelly in the Forest today Love the Winter shadows The play of light on a subject holds a special fascination for me. Capturing that light an even bigger fascination .

21.01.2022 So much to see in our North West. Like Emus swimming and rolling around in the surf. This was so funny to watch and I finally got to not only see Emus on the beach, but to see them having fun in the water Check out how one in particular was even upside down with just his legs sticking up out of the water

21.01.2022 Wow I did not expect another amazing sunrise so soon after the last one. This morning was just stunning! Were you lucky enough to see it?? Winter sunrises can be amazing because we get the stormy clouds. Definitely true with the saying "Red in the morning, Shepherds warning" Because it is now cold, wet and windy! I hope this warms your day up a little. Just a few of this mornings shots, starting with the sky as it began to color up. :) I got my feet wet but worth it :)

20.01.2022 I saw the beautiful sunset starting to develop on my way to a job tonight. So unfortunately this was one I had to miss. However, my good friend, and very talented artist Jan Rae, DID capture some stunning photos with her phone. With Jan's permission I would like to share a couple of her images with you all. If you would like to see some of Jan's amazing paintings, pop on down and meet her on Saturday mornings at Creative Hands (next to brewlicious) in the Broadwater Shopping Center where Jan's artwork is just one part of Creative Hands selection of talented locals. 19.01.2022 We have photographed this beautiful family many times over the years, and they are always such a pleasure to capture <3 Thank you Lindsee for organising this shoot for your family :) <3 Just a quick sneak peek :)

18.01.2022 Yes I am obsessed with this rock. Sugarloaf Rock after sunset

17.01.2022 I am looking forward to sharing more bird photos with you as I find time to process them..how cute is this couple. Are you lucky to have beautiful blue wrens in your garden? These are on our friends property in Bridgetown.Soon I will share babies with their parents, that love my sisters garden here in Busselton.. we have a variety of babies in our garden at the moment so will also share those photos soon!

17.01.2022 Like all unions, it is very important to capture " The Kiss"...right? Think I nailed it again Frank and I were so lucky to witness a turtle mating ritual just off the shoreline in Exmouth. What amazing prehistoric creatures!

15.01.2022 I have been capturing this family of wrens that visit my sister and her hubby on a regular basis, for a while now. This is the first time I have captured the young male since he has fully colored up. I captured him as he was beginning to change and just as I was about to leave the other day, he and his harem appeared under very low light conditions. Im looking forward to capturing him and his girls again soon when im not so busy working and hopefully with better light

14.01.2022 Today I had such a pretty little Princess visit me for her first photoshoot. Such a little cutie. 3 week old Emira. So tiny and sweet and she made me remember why I love photographing babies

13.01.2022 If you have not yet travelled North, do yourself a favour and visit Exmouth! You will not be disappointed. You don't have to be a photographer to enjoy the amazing scenery, wildlife and sealife, let alone the gorgeous weather! During our border closure, take the chance to see what our own beautiful state has to offer. I was again, so lucky to be in the right place, at the right time. Pebble Beach in Exmouth is one of my favorite places there, and was one of the places I wante...d to go back to, just for the rocks and shells you see! So much color. But to capture this from the shoreline, just about had me doing backflips! These were shot handheld from quite a distance. It wasnt until I began processing the photos, that I realised this Dugong actually had a baby with it, who finally shows itself off just a little :) :) It is a rare site as they are such shy creatures. Both times I have been to Exmouth I have been blessed to see a Dugong! See more

12.01.2022 Such a fun wedding to capture on Saturday at a beautiful location! Redtail Ridge Cottages A sneak peak

12.01.2022 I am currently wrapping up a recent wedding session, and preparing for our upcoming family sessions. While we are taking limited bookings for shoots now, please know that all sessions we book, are given the time you deserve. Our bookings are a minimum 1 hour. We do not do mini sessions as it is important to us that we "connect" with our clients on every shoot we do. It is also important to be able to offer you images that reflect you and your family. Frank and I are not ...about pushing through as many shoots as we can, we are about offering a quality service from start to finish, where you do not feel rushed or pressured, and where we guarantee it will be a fun and relaxed experience! We only book one shoot on a given day, allowing extra time if it is needed. For an obligation free quote, don't hesitate to contact us via inbox, or on 0413 653 725 See more

12.01.2022 Hi everyone. Can you help Karen choose out of this selection of photos! I had a session with her recently and she is having trouble deciding her final choice for her website

12.01.2022 This little fella has been on my photography bucket list a very long time. I was over the moon when he appeared all of a sudden, in the middle of nowhere where we had pulled over to photograph wildflowers on our roadtrip North recently. So many amazing birds in our country, and so many in our state of WA. I have been enjoying capturing quite a variety of birds recently, even since I got home. This guy seemed as interested in me as I was him! This made my day :) :) :)

11.01.2022 High tide at Geographe Mariner and vacant seating on the Foreshore. This was at About 10 am this morning. Photo by Frank Cotton

11.01.2022 This is how it gets when you build a friendship with local wildlife. They take over your camera

03.01.2022 A male and female member of the family of Splendid Blue Fairy Wrens, that frequent my sister's yard. This is what is called a dull male, as he has not colored up yet. He has the blue wings and blue tail. The little female wren has the brown wings and blue tail. Sadly I didn't notice while photographing them, that she seems to have an injured eye. Hopefully this is only superficial. But so cute still! I am looking forward to capturing more of them as the young males start to color up. A Fact for you: While that lays the eggs hatches them, all of the family of wrens feed the young. Such an awesome little family :)

02.01.2022 Wow what a kaleidoscope of colors at Sunrise this morning! So glad I was able to get out and capture this amazing painting by Mother Nature today :) :) Just a few for now of what I captured :)

02.01.2022 This amazing cell passed by Busselton a couple of days ago. I could hear the thunder so headed down to the Marina nearby. My love of amazing clouds inspires me when weather like this comes through. So my friend Jan and I decided to take a drive to Sugarloaf for sunset. The light was amazing.

02.01.2022 Picked up my pass for the Busselton Jetty for 1 year for only $4! So if you you are a local Busselton resident you would be crazy to NOT get down there and purchase one!

01.01.2022 We would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy New Year. While the clock may have ticked over into 2021, that does not mean we are instantly transported into a Covid19 free year. Please follow the Government and Health Department's regulations and requests, even if only to protect those more at risk. Be kind, it costs nothing. Help someone less fortunate than yourself, even if it is just once, even if it is buying a homeless person a coffee. It may not seem much, but t...o someone in that situation, just knowing someone cared for 5 minutes can make their day. We are living in difficult times right now and compassion is needed more than ever. Check on your elderly family members, and/ or elderly neighbours. Keep smiling in the face of adversity. We are the only ones that can make ourselves happy. Stay safe everyone, the fight continues but as a human race, we can and will overcome this. We look forward to sharing our images with you throughout 2021 Namaste Tracy and Frank See more

01.01.2022 The first sunset for 2021 was so pretty. We havent been to Canal Rocks for months due to Frank being ill, so it was so great to get out there last night! I must say, while it is great to see the railings replaced, they are no where near as sturdy as usual. I realised this when I went to lean against one to take a shot and it moved. Have you been down there recently and noticed this? I dont think it will hold up to the next storm with a huge swell.
