25.01.2022 Hello , I thought it was time I introduced myself & share a bit about myself. I’m Elizabeth (aka Liz) Natural Tranquility owner, remedial massage & Bowen Therapist in North Ryde, Sydney. . I am a middle child I wanted to become a physio during school, and when I studied massage I loved it so much I furthered my studies in Natural Medicine I’m getting married (Covid stopped this happening in May) ... I’ve had 2 knee operations - soccer caused the first one. I love food - & a great . I am TERRIFIED of birds, and am scared of animals (slowly improving) I have 6 nieces and nephews . Enjoy traveling, cooking & socializing I love FRIENDS, and can watch re-runs over and over again, I love my job!! See more

When he isnt treating youll find him playing , cooking & doing yoga (has since he was 8 years old). Favourite food: roast dinner with pork crackling. 13.01.2022 We are still open and trading as usual for both Jeff (Acupuncturist) & myself. We are following the advice of the authorities, and as the situation changes, we will alter accordingly. We will continue to operate in the cleanest, safest possible way for clients and implement a few extra safety measures. ... Your health and safety is our priority. As manual therapists, hygiene and infection control is part of our training. The clinic undergoes regular sanitisation, and the rooms are sanitised between each and every client i.e. tables wiped down, as are hand basins, clean towels etc. Bathroom is shared, and is regularly cleaned and disinfected. We have hand sanitiser outside the treatment rooms, and will be asking clients to use this before and after their treatments / or washing your hands prior to and after your treatment. We are now using disposable covers for treatment tables. We ask (as always) If you are unwell or looking after someone who is unwell, please do not come into the clinic. This includes cold, cough, and flu-like symptoms. If you are experiencing fever, sore throat, fatigue and/or shortness of breath along with the above, please seek medical attention. . If you have travelled overseas, do not come into the clinic . If you have come into contact with any confirmed cases of corona virus, please do not come into the clinic.

The Autonomic Nervous System controls 80% bodily functions & is divided into the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS) = Fight & Flight or Freeze Mode (a common place we find ourselves in with external stressors - work, current affairs, stimulants etc) ... 09.01.2022 Last week, I had a really tight shoulder and neck (for 5 days) which made me have poor sleep. Anxiety crept in for no apparent reason. I booked myself in for a Bowen Treatment on Thursday. I felt grounded afterwards, shoulder released, anxiety dissipated and Ive slept really well. The point of this story is We are NOT a mind and a body.
