25.01.2022 Observing and Linking children’s interests in childcare: One of the little ones has shown an interest in flowers, so I bought some pretty bouquets on the weekend and recycled some packing foam to create a flower garden indoors. All the children have really enjoyed picking them and planting them, making bunches and counting them and giving them to each other in gestures of friendship and sharing

20.01.2022 It’s good to be back in Langwarrin! We are a short walk to Langwarrin Park Primary and Kinder. Frankston South was amazing for the last 12 months but Langy is definitely home. I’ll catch up with more pics of the new place over the coming days

17.01.2022 Learning about fire safety is part of early childhood education. This week the children practiced Stop. Drop. Roll, listened to the sound of a smoke alarm, watched an educational video about fire safety and painted a red fire engine. In FDC we have practiced procedures in case of fire or emergency, and are well equipped and trained to keep every child safe!

12.01.2022 For Christmas the children have been making beautiful art and craft, including Christmas tree pasting, a Christmas tree made with branches collected from the park, sprinkled with glitter and set in clay, and beautiful salt dough candle holders. And today we set up a winter wonderland table covered in snow
