21.01.2022 From all the staff here at OSS, we wish all a Merry Christmas and we hope you all have a good year. To the Facility Managers, we wish you well in whatever endeavors you pursue in the future, I still don't believe the privatization of Government Maintenence should have ever been run by a private company. To Tracey, thanks for all the good work you put in this year.... To all the teachers and school-related staff, you are all wonderful people, country schools are great places to work and work with. To all the grounds staff, you all do a marvelous job on what budgets you have and the hours you have to do them in, keep up the great work. To all the Councils and council related people that interacted with us this year, you are great people to work with, and the grounds staff, your hard work does not go unnoticed, people underestimate the amount of work it takes to keep towns maintained. And a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year to all the people that have used our services.

Another nominee into the South Australian Tree of the year award, this River Red Gum makes quite the statement situated in the middle of a... cul de sac in Clarence Park. "This might not be as well known as it should be because its in a cul de sac, and because there's virtually no other big survivor trees in the area. It must have been a late estate survivor when it was finally subdivided. It dominates the road and the whole cul de sac and looks very healthy. An amazing survival story considering it bisects the road!" Nominating your favourite tree is easy!
