18.01.2022 Photos from our Rewild Friday adventures - crafting, foraging, wandering and more

16.01.2022 I was commissioned to write this article for Dumbo Feather magazIne about the possibilities of how to approach the climate crisis before the fires had started. ...Re-reading it now on this day where we are so perversely connected to the bush through the smoky haze it feels even more relevant. Perhaps especially so the guiding principles that emerge at the end of the long evening of climate conversation. See more

16.01.2022 Some exciting news. We've just had confirmation that Steve Wanta Jampijinpa Patrick (see link below), is joining us for the week of Music, Nature and Storytelli...ng. Wanta is from the Warlpiri community of Lajamanu in Central Australia, he is a law holder, educator, and has a passion for cross cultural teaching. For Wanta, and all Warlpiri people, the stories of the land are Jukurrpa or Kurawarri; they are song, dance, story, painting and ceremony all contained in a vast multimodal network of dreaming tracks. We look forward to hosting Wanta at this event. See some of his collaborations here. See more

14.01.2022 FRIDAY 29th NOVEMBER - THE WORK THAT RECONNECTS

13.01.2022 Join us again for this Work That Reconnects four week online course. When I try and explain what it's about to someone new to Joanna Macy's work and deep ecology I say 'Think of it as eye-gazing with Gaia.' You'll probably fall more deeply in love with this earth and your capacity to dance in her unfolding mystery.

11.01.2022 This enforced hibernation of Melbourne's protracted lockdown, while difficult, has offered me the opportunity to revision and reimagine my world work, including... finishing my second memoir Rewilding the Urban Soul. With pretty much all of the delivery systems that I passionately created in the last 5 years on hiatus, I'm in the process of dreaming into, and being re-enchanted by this wild field of soulcentric nature-based human potential. So many threads to this grand project of rewilding the modern human. I've been asked to speak in conversation with Skye Cielita Flor about what is at the heart of rewilding, nature and soul for me at the Embodiment Conference, currently underway. I hope to be surprised by what I might say! It's all very fluid right now, so interesting times to be offering a keynote. There's over 1000 speakers, including some of my visionary friends Maya Ward, Cat McKay, Skye Cielita Flor, Simon Thakur, Brian Stafford, Jessica Huon, Arion Light, Claire Vanderplank, Atira Tan, Bonnie Bliss, Rivka Worth You can watch my conversation: "Rewilding the Soul: Learning to Embody our Ecological Selves" live Thursday @ 4pm AEDT or for free for the 48 hours after that. Check it program here: https://theembodimentconference.org#ClaireDunn

10.01.2022 In the words of one participant, "Rewild Fridays opened me to a conversation I didn't know existed." The Wild is available right where we live. Come join us this winter. Drop in passes also available. https://www.naturesapprentice.com.au//rewild-fridays-melbo

04.01.2022 A few days wandering and tracking last week on the Gippsland coast. There's something so powerful about the attention one gives to the land with the eyes of a t...racker. I might be a beginner still, but the joy is in the wandering, questioning, sensing, curiosity. Who can name the makers of these tracks?? See more

04.01.2022 "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?" Mary Oliver. Come and see where your wild life lives this spring.... Early bird Tix ONSale until End of July...

03.01.2022 A beautiful and thought-provoking article in Emergence Magazine by David Abrams - including the unique opportunities afforded us during this time for nature connection. https://emergencemagazine.org/story/our-unknowing/
