23.01.2022 Whether you're already back to work or you're still enjoying some time off, you're probably thinking about what you want from this year. So what is ONE thing you want to bring in with 2021?

21.01.2022 There is nothing worse than relaxing into your time off... only to realise you don't have enough of your medication or supplements. This is your reminder to make sure you have a good supply of anything you take to manage your thyroid or other health concerns!

19.01.2022 If you have a thyroid condition - do you find it easy to manage over the holiday break? Or do your symptoms tend to flare up and cause havoc?

12.01.2022 The Christmas holidays are often about relaxing a little bit when it comes to eating, drinking and being merry! But for the sake of your thyroid, brain, gut and overall function - please keep drinking your water. Kick off with a big glass first thing in the morning. That way, you're off to a good start.... Is a glass of water part of your morning routine, or is it something you need to introduce?

11.01.2022 In the spirit of Thyroid Awareness Month, I'll be sharing articles, content and facts about the thyroid and why it is critical for our wellbeing. What do you want to know about when it comes to thyroid health?

07.01.2022 If I could pick one goal or resolution for everyone to set, it would be to practice more mindfulness. Being mindful is one of the simplest and most effective practices for your mental and physical health. It's particularly useful for reducing and managing the effects of stress, which is a huge issue for us all after the past 12 months! You might want to try some guided meditation apps, practice mindful eating for at least one meal per day, or simply commit to 10 deep breaths ...at the start and end of each day. Have you given mindfulness a go? Or are you still new to the idea?

04.01.2022 No one wants to go into the holiday season focused on restricting everything. That's why I recommend taking the approach of adding nutritious foods in. At every meal, make sure you're adding in: A source of protein Some good fats... At least one fruit or veggie Plenty of colour! That way, anything else you eat is balanced out in terms of nutrients, blood sugar regulation and inflammation.

03.01.2022 Is getting fit on your list of resolutions? Consistent physical activity is one of the most powerful ways to improve your overall health. But there are two big mistake people often make around the new year: 1 Going too hard, too fast 2Choosing a form of exercise that they don't love... So if you want to get fit and active this year, here are my top tips: Set a goal that you can achieve even when life gets hectic. If you're a full-time working mum, you probably won't be able to hit the gym every single day of 2021 (unless you're a personal trainer!) Be realistic about what you can stick to. Even 2 hours of movement every week is a great start! Pick something you genuinely enjoy. If you hate the gym, don't sign up for a gym membership! There's a form of movement out there for everyone. Not sure what you enjoy? Consider a resolution to try a new form of movement every month until you find your happy place. Get some accountability. This might be hiring a personal trainer, or it could be roping your friends into a weekly walk at the local park. This is particularly useful if you find yourself making up excuses a few weeks into your fitness regime. Do you have a goal around fitness for this year? Let me know what it is below.
