25.01.2022 The latest fashion in horse wear,

25.01.2022 Well it isn't everyday I'm given free rein to choose colours etc when making gear bags. Here are the finished result. Both have inner pocket and the shoulder strap which is removable.

22.01.2022 Just finished another 'out of the blue' order. This time asked to make new dog coat, so here is the finished product. Lining is new polar fleece, padding is clean recycled lining from canvas rug and outer shell is recycled rug material. New binding for edging and all hardware. So when I get some spare time I am going to make new coats for my boys, they have grown out of their other ones.

22.01.2022 Second bag finished and ready to go.

21.01.2022 So instead of naughty nags I have naughty puppies. They decided to have a party with four 30mtr rolls of velcro both hook and loop, I've managed to get 2 lots out but this is the mess I'm trying to untangle.

21.01.2022 Happy Easter to all the Naughty Nags and their long suffering mums and dad's . Have a good one and stay safe.Happy Easter to all the Naughty Nags and their long suffering mums and dad's . Have a good one and stay safe.

21.01.2022 Hi all, hope your weekend has started out good. I'm putting out a call for the pink hygain equine senior bags if anyone has any. Have had a rush on everyone wanting pink bags lol and I only had a couple to start with so if anyone has any would love to grab them from you.

20.01.2022 Here is the finished repaired rug, ready to take naughty nag on again

18.01.2022 Well Easter has come and gone and we are already halfway through April. The weather is now turning cooler and its when we all think about those winter rugs. So just a reminder, I wash and dehair as well as repair. If you have winter rugs you need repaired or washed ready for the cooler weather, please remember that if washed they take a few days to dry properly, weather being kind with sunshine and not the dreaded wet stuff.

15.01.2022 It has taken 2 1/2days but managed to get all back together.

14.01.2022 Just a reminder to everyone. When I get rugs in for repair, unless I'm washing them they must be clean of dirt, hair and debris. Just repaired two lined canvas rugs, they needed the lining dehaired but they also had alot of dirt that came out of lining, so ended up having to vacuum them to get clean enough to repair. Dirt and debris upsets the machine from needles breaking, thread breaking and dirt etc getting into oil and machine feeder dogs. Both rugs are now clean and repaired.

14.01.2022 This rug was sent in for washing, as owner said went mudsliding. It's now hanging on the line drying after being hand scrubbed as mud was thick and machine would not have removed it that well. This rug being light looks stained after first go over so needs a second scrub to remove the last of the soil. I reckon it came up pretty good. Photos don't really show how thick mud actually was.

12.01.2022 Over Christmas I made a start on cutting up shredded rugs for parts, finally finished on the long weekend. So now have everything in boxes.. All the same type of pattern in one box, mesh, canvas, synthetic etc. Have also sorted out binding colours into boxes so now have a good idea of what I have. What a mission!

11.01.2022 Winter is here. Can feel the change with the cooler afternoons and the crisp mornings. Have been quite busy over past few weeks and just realised how quickly the days have flown by. Previously I had shown the facemask extension I made up for customer, well the prototype whilst it worked well in concept, it still needed tweeking. So through trial and testing on my masks have now hit on the final pattern. The concept of the mask is to extend it so that it sits under the neck rug thus minimising the amount of bare skin the midges etc can get to. With the addition of the neck clip it helps to keep in place and also helps stop the horse from removing (which my lot are masters at). So here is final product, as tough as I can make it to stand up to rubbing etc.

10.01.2022 Here is second half of before video

08.01.2022 A big thank you to everyone who supports Naughty Nag. Winter is just around the corner and if you are like me you just put the winter rugs away thinking will fix/get to that later, so my thoughts have turned to my rugs and I am now pulling them out and getting them sorted ready. (repaired and washed) As always anything repaired or made (bags) is done with durability in mind but should any repair let go or fail (not cause by horse obviously) it will be redone at no charge, sub...ject to inspection first obviously. Likewise with the bale bags, hay bags, gear bags, rug bags. Should they fail during reasonable normal use then they will be either repaired or replaced at no charge, subject to inspection. Naughty Nag strives to make repairs and bags able to hold up to normal use and will always stand behind those repairs and bags. Again thank you to everyone for your support and hope to always be able to help when your naughty nag goes to town on his/her rug. Have a good weekend everyone. See more

07.01.2022 Hi all, hope everyone is doing OK. With the easter break coming up this Friday is good Friday so all drop points will be closed, so delivery and pickup will be Wednesday after Easter. I am minimising my amt of deliveries with the govt essential trip mandate. So I am making sure I have the majority of repairs done so it maximises the trip so to speak. Stay safe everyone and stay well. Please let me know if you do drop off rugs for repair so I only make essential trips.

07.01.2022 I'm often given rugs to wash as well as repair. This rug is one such rug. Pictures show just how much dirt and grime can be in a rug, even after a single wash and soak cycle. I had already done such a wash in cold water however I wasn't happy with it as alot of stuck on grime that needed scrubbing. So put in tub with hot water and sard soaker/wash powder and it is now on 3rd such soak. Will post finished result once Im happy with it.

07.01.2022 Hi everyone, well has been a Rollercoaster ride for me last few weeks. I am in need of a paddock for my 3 in the valla, nambucca, urunga etc area. Have the 2 tbreds but also have aged old pony with bad fetlock so she needs relatively flat paddock so she isn't in pain. They are all rugged and fed twice a day and tbreds are ridden. If anyone know of a paddock please shoot me a message. Thanks so much. .

07.01.2022 Just completed a custom order for a hay biscuit bag, only to fit 2 biscuits but reinforced for weight.

06.01.2022 Just finished a custom order of a gear bag. I think it turned out pretty nice. Customer wanted 2 chook gear bags, just finished the first one. Will post pics of second one when it is finished.

04.01.2022 Hi all, in view of the covid 19 current situation, repairs will still be done while ever drop off places remain open and delivery days remain the same . Invoices will be sent upon completion as normal but returns will only be done once payment is received. Please everyone stay safe and maintain infection control for both yourself and families. If you like so many others have been unable to get the gel for hands, I have myself put some wipes into waterproof container with distinfectant poured onto them, I wipe both hands, steering wheel, door etc after being out, to minimise chances of contamination. So just a tip for you all. Also I have my chlorhexidine on kitchen bench to wash my hands with, had in my vet kit so now using at home. Stay well everyone, we are a tough bunch and will all get through this latest challenge thrown at us.

04.01.2022 Hi all, please could you look at and sign this petition to stop this type of cruelty, and to help send a strong message. Share to all your friends the more signatures on the petition the better chance of getting justice for poor Lou, she didn't deserve to be shot in the head, starved etc.

03.01.2022 Well Easter is a few short days away. Returns and pick up will be this Thursday at both coffs and bellingen. 02.01.2022 Tomorrow is last delivery for 2019. If any urgent repairs are needed, shoot a message and will organise pickup. Normal pickup will resume on 3rd January 2020. Wow new year on horizon.

02.01.2022 Here they are, the maxi cube bale bags. As with all the various bags they are made from recycled feed bags and with recycled trim wherever possible. They are strong with base reinforced with webbing. Can fit maxi cube in with ease even when bale strapping is cut. Has tie downs on front and sides and also handles on the sides as well as normal handles. Bale bags will be made up to order, webbing colours mainly what I have available. Cost of bale bag is $30.00. These bags in pics have been made up to order, along with hay bag and gearbag, all in same colour binding to make matching sets.

02.01.2022 A very happy new year to one and all, may the new year bring us all health and happiness and soft quenching rain.
